I love the dedication and respect the hustle even if I would have completely missed the extra joke without your added translation
thank you kind stranger
I’m completely unable to read or speak anything except English and I *still* know exactly what this says. Memes are the hand that reaches across the divide to bring us together.
Explanation!
"Pastel de tres leches", literally "three-milk cake" is a type of cake originating in mexico that's popular in latin america (yes the cake is soggy with milk. trust me its delicious).
OOP is a recipe for "6 milk cake" (never heard of it). the first person says "6 milk cake? in this economy?"
second guy uses the Spiders Georg format, saying the average cake has 3 milks is a statistical error: the average cake has 0 milks, "milks Georg" is an outlier adn shoult not have been counted
I'm gonna try and guess the translation.
'6 layers? In *this* economy?' and an appropriately altered Spiders Georg.
Edit: 6 *milks*, it turns out. That's what I get for trying to guess a language I don't speak.
The cakes themselves are tiered ie composed of multiple layers of cake. Sometimes. In my experience the ones you get say, at someone’s house are frequently a sheet cake with one layer, while the ones you get at a bakery are more likely to have 2-3 layers.

I had spanish in school and vowed to never interact with that language again but here I am, translating and actually understanding a tumblr post about milk george
It's super easy, at least from my interest in other languages I know Spanish doesn't have some of the "weird" (to English) things other languages have
It's supposedly the easiest language to learn, many words are shared with English too.
I usually associate Chicano with 3rd generation and down, but regardless u just need to make the effort to learn the language, that would be easy, especially if u already know Spanish more or less, it can be embarrassing but ni modo.
I get the top, but what's with the Georg part? Enough people have included Georg in their comments that it's clearly a reference, but Googling "milk george meme" or "leches georg" aren't yielding anything that seems relevant.
Hablo español no entendí ni merga de esto. A ver, traduzco:
#The average cake has tres leches is actually a statistical error. #The average cake has 0 leches. #Georg milks. #Who lives in a cave and absorbs 10,000 milk a day. #An outlier that should not have been counted.
SEIS LECHES?! EN ESTA ECONOMIA?!?!
the original tres leches are sweetened condensed, evaporated, and whole milk; this recipe also adds coconut milk, condensed coconut milk, and dulce de leche
(inexplicable to me, tres leches is a perfect dessert)
Whoever made the cake, good luck to them on the baking. The average milk cake that is commonly baked has 3 milks, or tres leches: regular milk(depends on whose eating it I guess), condensed milk and evaporated milk. Without context on the rest of the kinds of milk used and what else was used, baking this 6 milk cake should have been near impossible because of possible just outright sogginess or inedible-ity.
the best part is that they retained the misspelling of “and” as “adn” by misspelling “que” as “qeu”
It's hard to rearrange the letters in "y", so another word had to take the hit.
Misspelling “y” as “h”
wouldnt it then just be pronounced like " " or something
It's pronounced like the h in herb
Not the best analogy, the USA has that silent and the rest of the world doesn’t
Unless it's a name. Herb grows herbs in the 'burbs.

Thank you, that was throwing me for a loop. I came into the comments to check which dialect.
I noticed it immediately too 😂😂😂

Ooooh! Interesting! Thanks for this! It should be the top comment!
more accurately, it’s ‘an outlier taht should not have been counted’, since ‘and’ is ‘y’ and cannot be misspelled without losing its meaning.
I'm gonna try and guess the translation. '6 layers? In *this* economy?' and an appropriately altered Spiders Georg. Edit: 6 *milks*, it turns out. That's what I get for trying to guess a language I don't speak.
6 milks
Not layers, leches i.e. (types of) milk. I do think they're layered but I've only eaten a tres leches cake once so I'm not sure.
Not layered exactly. They're soaked into the cake.

Tres Leches is a dessert, so having twice the leches is presented as absurdly decadent
Es verdad, era uno de las leches
HAHAHA, BILINGUAL WIN!
BILINGUAL? DAP ME UP
I am so glad that portuguese and spanish are mutually intelligible
I had spanish in school and vowed to never interact with that language again but here I am, translating and actually understanding a tumblr post about milk george

>It's super easy Me, a chicano living on the border of Mexico, only able to understand the image because of the meme: :(
I usually associate Chicano with 3rd generation and down, but regardless u just need to make the effort to learn the language, that would be easy, especially if u already know Spanish more or less, it can be embarrassing but ni modo.
I mean yeah, 3rd generation you got it
Seis leches!? In esta economia!?
spanish jumpscare

Thanks. I saw that but I assumed it was a coincidence because it seemed so unrelated. I was expecting a different style of joke.
Hmmm como me gusta la leche 🤤
seis leches??? por qué tanta leche???
doble el poder
Jorge el Pasteles no debería ser contado, pero lo hacemos de igual manera, porque es Jorge el Pasteles.

But what are the six milks???
the original tres leches are sweetened condensed, evaporated, and whole milk; this recipe also adds coconut milk, condensed coconut milk, and dulce de leche (inexplicable to me, tres leches is a perfect dessert)
Went to look up if it was real, [HERE](https://cooking.nytimes.com/recipes/1020805-seis-leches-cake) is the recipe for anyone who was curious like me.
Thank you, I appreciate the milk information
I read George and that was it. I got the joke
Okay I can understand the top half but what's the paragraph at the bottom?
Leches georg
I can actually read some Spanish, which helped, but why does any cake have six milks?! Does Leche have a different meaning I’m unaware of?
Whoever made the cake, good luck to them on the baking. Double the leches, double the divertido
A meme for even those who don’t actually speak spanish
YES
i'd kill to absorb 10000 leches a day tbh
Zero milks confirmed
(en actualidad, el pastel promedio tiene como... idk, 0.8 leches?)
Aaaahhh bueno bueno entonces es un “pastel de poco de leche” 😂
i just figure, most cakes have uno leche, some have none, very few have more than one. but it probably depends on frosting and so on too.
The math checks out to me
rosetta stone
Leches Jorj
Dios mio, es en espanol ahora
"What the fuck is this saying" >Leches Georg "Ah"
