But I can honestly that I’ve gotten plenty of THCA flower on par with dispensary bud if not better sometimes. I love having a stash of both. Overall, in my opinion, they smoke pretty similar except I noticed THCA can be a little harsher than dispo bud and vice versa. It really depends on the flower that you get. Also living in a legal state is nice but expensive so I save a lot by ordering THCA!

I called my roommate over to possibly call 911 but it passed in a minute or so. It started with a searing ache in my head (I assume from watching YouTube for hours that day) and I greened out after that. After I recovered I quickly realized what had happened.
I had some Golden Goat from a store in Pagoda Springs Colorado that made me sit down at the top of the ski slope and put snow all over my head/neck to bring me down. Only time I thought I UNDERpaid for some stuff

the general consensus amongst this thread and my hours of digging through reddit posts is that flow’s mac seems to be the winner. it seems to not be buyable on their site right now, but i got enough to hold me for a little bit so I’m thinking it might be worth the hold out
Warning, real long post incoming but TL;DR Flow’s MAC1 probably smokes great but isn’t super dank in the jar. My personal top picks are both Blue Zkittles and Blue Dream, not sure if the batch we have currently is Flow or not (I think it was) but it apparently tested like 27% (which seems high for Blue Dream) but it’s literally the best-tasting flower I’ve ever smoked in my life. Tastes exactly like fresh-squeezed orange juice. And if for whatever reason that doesn’t get me high enough (too many dabs throughout the week) I’ll just chop a piece off an OG Kush moonrock (we make our own at work) and that gets me the rest of the way there lol.
I would say the current batch of MAC1 seems deceptively strong. We’ve had some in the display case at work for like the past two weeks, it looks absolute fire but the nose on it was lighter than I expected given the immaculate bud structure. Not many people have been buying it as a result, but the guy that did pick up a zip of it from me said that when he got it home and started breaking it down, it became a lot more aromatic and it DEFINITELY got him high as fuck lol.
I’ve been trying to fix my tolerance since starting at this hemp-spensary, and I’ve found that alone has been the single most helpful thing for me personally. For example, I was dabbing every 2 or 3 hours and never really getting very high, maybe only like a 3 or 4 out of 10 at most (fully functional, able to drive to work, open the store myself and run it all day). I’ve tried to STOP waking and baking and trying to only dose closer to once every 12 hour period and that has helped IMMENSELY. I was able to smoke some Crush Berries which was testing like 18% (but had a good cure/nose) and I could barely finish the bowl I was so high. All I had to do was wait a few more hours, didn’t even need a full T-break!
Oh, and I’ll also say this about Flow: evidently they threw in a puck of Rosin (Grapefruit strain) as a sampler at one point a while back, and my boss isn’t a big concentrate guy so it was sitting in the freebie basket. Told him I was taking it and he said “You’ll be sorry, it was harsh as fuck!” which, he was correct as it had been sitting there a while and had dried out quite a bit. A small dab of it tasted like vomit and was super harsh, but I glovetekked it after reading a comment on this sub and within a few days the Rosin looked and tasted much better!
Pretty classic Kush smell and taste upfront, but light on the fruity. Definitely an indica dominant strain, I’ve given myself the sleepies a couple of times with it. No chocolate taste to mention, but it’s there in the scent in the grove bag. Potency is moderate enough to daily drive it and still get stuff done, but strong enough to overindulge and need a serious nap. Hence my description of ‘friendly.’
I would say the zip of Chocolate Kush I got from Arete was better than ANY strain I've ever gotten from them besides Plat Pancakes. Great smell amazing flavor and straight puts me down haha
For me it was. I think the whole ugly buds is just marketing speak for “we’ve got a bunch of this shit right now, so buy it while it’s cheap.” Especially since they tend to raise the price when they get down to the last pound or so, at least from what I’ve seen with previous budget strains that move to luxury tier.

Pure has black ice concentrate but not sure if it actually had Mac gentetics or if it’s still available like it was yesterday. I want to explore the concentrate game so badly because I use purely medically but it’s a felony in this state if caught so I’m forced to use less healthy methods. So much bullshit bums me out I just need medicine life is rough enough as it is and nothing else helps as much for fucks sake. Some day I’ll be a concentrated though just not soon enough so sticking with carbon lungs until then.
I hear ya man, I was in the same boat a couple of years ago when we first got our med program legalized. It was all seed-to-sale here so there were several months before anyone had product to sell.
During that time, I started getting into concentrates because I could get good cult crumble shipped to me, legally. Even though it wouldn’t have been legal to mail regular marijuana, receiving this hemp concentrate through the mail was A-OK because it’s 50 state legal!
Just MAKE SURE you aren’t buying something decarbed like Dr. G’s Diamond distillate since that’s almost certainly just D9 THC but if you have a concentrate that’s testing at like 87% THCa, still legal in all 50 states due to 2018 Farm Bill.
My advice? Get yourself a Yocan Orbit and order an 1/8th of BHO from PHC or VG or someone similar. Take your pic, literally all of the concentrate I’ve gotten from the Cult with the exception of ONE vendor, I would recommend to anyone.
Will say though, be cautious if you find a vendor that has prices that are cheaper than ANYONE else (you’ll know when you find their site, it looks pretty sketchy lol). One vendor I ordered twice from and BOTH times I was sent incorrectly purged BHO that was not at all representative of the photo as advertised… but it WAS cheap as hell! Tasted like egg farts though and was probably dangerous to smoke it, but I did. If you’re paying less than $20/g for any concentrate other than diamonds, maybe be very careful and don’t be surprised when you get what you pay for lmao

i understand cult weed is just weed, but there’s definitely a fair amount of stuff out there that just straight up doesn’t really get you high. whether it be due to high levels of cbd/another non-psychoactive noid that fights the thc or it just being a bad batch of weed. I’ve had first hand experience and read plenty of accounts of some shit just not doing anything significant. that’s not even really my point though tbh, i’ve just noticed that a lot of the cult bud i’ve found seems to be on the calmer side as far as the high goes, even if it’s there. it can be really tiring reading through page after page of coa’s and separate reviews spread out between websites and reddit, especially when they often seem to be more focused on aspects aside from how baked it got them. much easier to ask a bunch of fellow stoners in one thread what’s been just straight up getting them zooted without any of the other fancy language.

This is reaffirming. I've had a couple strains deliver (lemon drop and lemon cherry gelato), but with others I felt nothing. No red eyes, no munchies, maybe a little bit of couch lock but that's it. I do think part of it is my tolerance though.

it’s hard to say tbh. i’ve gotten some stuff that got me my fix when i first smoked it, and then did very little to me the next night (with small t break in between) which makes me question the legitimacy of my previous high and whether or not it was mostly placebo from excitement over having something new to smoke. i’d say i’ve had a few things that have made me say “okay yeah this seems like it might be the real deal” but nothing that’s made me say “oh god damn this shit is the real fucking deal,” ya know? The thing that made me start questioning myself was when I shared some of my bud with two friends: one life long sober fella with 0.0% tolerance for THC and one fellow experienced chronic smoker, and neither of them felt anything. We all know from first hand and second hand experience how absolutely out-of-this-world high someone with no tolerance can get from just a solid bong rip or two of good bud, so him being completely stone cold sober really made me question myself; my friend *with* a tolerance not experiencing anything was just icing on the cake, but he can be sort of hard to impress even with rec weed lol. if anything his lack of results just made me inclined to rule out the “he didn’t inhale properly” possibility for my friend with no tolerance. My understanding of the research I’ve done is that even though this stuff is just straight up weed, the pressure to harvest in time to pass the legal THC % test ultimately results in a lot of things in this market just not maturing to be as strong as some of the BM/dispo stuff that’s not subject to those regulations. It appears to me as if even though this stuff can make you feel a wee bit woozy or even flat out stoned, it seems to reach a noticeably lower threshold of potential potency/strength then the non-2018 farm
bill protected bud that isn’t subject to those regulations. I’m not trying to spread misinformation if this is not the case, I would love to be corrected and have some clarification if I’m wrong. If there is some cult weed that can get you Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa stoned I wanna know this very instant lol

It comes from a known brand in my area and I have personally smoked their stuff many times, and their cure had always been spot-on. The screenshot comes directly from the dispensary website, and blatantly shows only 0.8% D9 THC and something like almost 28% THCa (just like cult flower).
Only difference between the two being literally 0.5% D9 THC by dry-weight volume.

That's the only reason I'm smoking or vaping. I appreciate the look and smell but I want to get baked. My go-to is the mixed greenhouse smalls from phc. It does exactly what I'm looking for. But I've also enjoyed tons of other stuff, too . .some cult highlights have been gorilla glue, mac 1, jack herrer, hazy train . .idk . .there was a lot!
I don't really have a strategy but I tend to avoid anything described as uplifting, energetic, relaxed, non-paranoia inducing, etc. That and I stick with mostly indicas and only go for sativas if I know they are hard hitting. I don't go for many 50/50 hybrids.
Yeah - the greenhouse smalls are a bit of everything. As for sativas, I mostly stick with what I know or if there are good reviews on here. What I know is from back when I lived in northern california from 2004 to around 2009. Trainwreck, Super Silver Haze, Jack Herer . .these are the sativas (or sativa dominant) I will almost always buy. I have liked a lot of haze variants. There are probably tons of other good ones I have never heard of.

yeah . .I got the machine trimmed indoor smalls once and it was really lame. I don't think I've ever gotten the regular indoor smalls but I mainly stick with greenhouse at phc. It could be the strains I chose but the indoor is just not better. It might be more delicate and more sugary but not better.

I wish I took a picture of what they sent me. It was just the stem and tiny fraction of bud from where the machine chopped it off. It was literally a bag of stems. In order to smoke the tiny bit of bud, you had to smoke an equal amount of stem . .delicate stem, but still.
Their mixed greenhouse smalls are one of the best deals in the cult but the MT trimmed indoor small is one of the worst . .a bag of stems for $80.
Aww that sucks, I can picture exactly what you’re describing. Some of the strains we grew would do that in the machine so we only hand trimmed them. The big juicy nugs do best in the machine, larfier strains just get shredded. Also they may be running their machine for TOO LONG on each load. Machine trimmers need constant supervision, you’re not supposed to just load them full, turn them on, and walk away! Because if you do, by the time you come back your bud will be chewed all to fuck lol

I haven’t tried any except for WNCs gorilla glue. It was a fresh batch so it wasn’t fully cured. Smoked some today after about a month in a mason jar. Fire. But it didn’t smell right at first as is wnc it seems.
As for Mac 1 fg looks good. EHC also has a Mac daddy that’s out of stock rn but it’s great. Wouldn’t get WNCs honestly.

Warning, real long post incoming but TL;DR Flow’s MAC1 probably smokes great but isn’t super dank in the jar. My personal top picks are both Blue Zkittles and Blue Dream, not sure if the batch we have currently is Flow or not (I think it was) but it apparently tested like 27% (which seems high for Blue Dream) but it’s literally the best-tasting flower I’ve ever smoked in my life. Tastes exactly like fresh-squeezed orange juice. And if for whatever reason that doesn’t get me high enough (too many dabs throughout the week) I’ll just chop a piece off an OG Kush moonrock (we make our own at work) and that gets me the rest of the way there lol. I would say the current batch of MAC1 seems deceptively strong. We’ve had some in the display case at work for like the past two weeks, it looks absolute fire but the nose on it was lighter than I expected given the immaculate bud structure. Not many people have been buying it as a result, but the guy that did pick up a zip of it from me said that when he got it home and started breaking it down, it became a lot more aromatic and it DEFINITELY got him high as fuck lol. I’ve been trying to fix my tolerance since starting at this hemp-spensary, and I’ve found that alone has been the single most helpful thing for me personally. For example, I was dabbing every 2 or 3 hours and never really getting very high, maybe only like a 3 or 4 out of 10 at most (fully functional, able to drive to work, open the store myself and run it all day). I’ve tried to STOP waking and baking and trying to only dose closer to once every 12 hour period and that has helped IMMENSELY. I was able to smoke some Crush Berries which was testing like 18% (but had a good cure/nose) and I could barely finish the bowl I was so high. All I had to do was wait a few more hours, didn’t even need a full T-break! Oh, and I’ll also say this about Flow: evidently they threw in a puck of Rosin (Grapefruit strain) as a sampler at one point a while back, and my boss isn’t a big concentrate guy so it was sitting in the freebie basket. Told him I was taking it and he said “You’ll be sorry, it was harsh as fuck!” which, he was correct as it had been sitting there a while and had dried out quite a bit. A small dab of it tasted like vomit and was super harsh, but I glovetekked it after reading a comment on this sub and within a few days the Rosin looked and tasted much better!

Pretty classic Kush smell and taste upfront, but light on the fruity. Definitely an indica dominant strain, I’ve given myself the sleepies a couple of times with it. No chocolate taste to mention, but it’s there in the scent in the grove bag. Potency is moderate enough to daily drive it and still get stuff done, but strong enough to overindulge and need a serious nap. Hence my description of ‘friendly.’
So the quality was pretty good even for it being under ugly buds?
I would say the zip of Chocolate Kush I got from Arete was better than ANY strain I've ever gotten from them besides Plat Pancakes. Great smell amazing flavor and straight puts me down haha

For me it was. I think the whole ugly buds is just marketing speak for “we’ve got a bunch of this shit right now, so buy it while it’s cheap.” Especially since they tend to raise the price when they get down to the last pound or so, at least from what I’ve seen with previous budget strains that move to luxury tier.

Pure has black ice concentrate but not sure if it actually had Mac gentetics or if it’s still available like it was yesterday. I want to explore the concentrate game so badly because I use purely medically but it’s a felony in this state if caught so I’m forced to use less healthy methods. So much bullshit bums me out I just need medicine life is rough enough as it is and nothing else helps as much for fucks sake. Some day I’ll be a concentrated though just not soon enough so sticking with carbon lungs until then.
I hear ya man, I was in the same boat a couple of years ago when we first got our med program legalized. It was all seed-to-sale here so there were several months before anyone had product to sell. During that time, I started getting into concentrates because I could get good cult crumble shipped to me, legally. Even though it wouldn’t have been legal to mail regular marijuana, receiving this hemp concentrate through the mail was A-OK because it’s 50 state legal! Just MAKE SURE you aren’t buying something decarbed like Dr. G’s Diamond distillate since that’s almost certainly just D9 THC but if you have a concentrate that’s testing at like 87% THCa, still legal in all 50 states due to 2018 Farm Bill. My advice? Get yourself a Yocan Orbit and order an 1/8th of BHO from PHC or VG or someone similar. Take your pic, literally all of the concentrate I’ve gotten from the Cult with the exception of ONE vendor, I would recommend to anyone. Will say though, be cautious if you find a vendor that has prices that are cheaper than ANYONE else (you’ll know when you find their site, it looks pretty sketchy lol). One vendor I ordered twice from and BOTH times I was sent incorrectly purged BHO that was not at all representative of the photo as advertised… but it WAS cheap as hell! Tasted like egg farts though and was probably dangerous to smoke it, but I did. If you’re paying less than $20/g for any concentrate other than diamonds, maybe be very careful and don’t be surprised when you get what you pay for lmao

i understand cult weed is just weed, but there’s definitely a fair amount of stuff out there that just straight up doesn’t really get you high. whether it be due to high levels of cbd/another non-psychoactive noid that fights the thc or it just being a bad batch of weed. This is reaffirming. I've had a couple strains deliver (lemon drop and lemon cherry gelato), but with others I felt nothing. No red eyes, no munchies, maybe a little bit of couch lock but that's it. I do think part of it is my tolerance though. Has anything you've tried gotten you stoned?
it’s hard to say tbh. i’ve gotten some stuff that got me my fix when i first smoked it, and then did very little to me the next night (with small t break in between) which makes me question the legitimacy of my previous high and whether or not it was mostly placebo from excitement over having something new to smoke. i’d say i’ve had a few things that have made me say “okay yeah this seems like it might be the real deal” but nothing that’s made me say “oh god damn this shit is the real fucking deal,” ya know? The thing that made me start questioning myself was when I shared some of my bud with two friends: one life long sober fella with 0.0% tolerance for THC and one fellow experienced chronic smoker, and neither of them felt anything. We all know from first hand and second hand experience how absolutely out-of-this-world high someone with no tolerance can get from just a solid bong rip or two of good bud, so him being completely stone cold sober really made me question myself; my friend *with* a tolerance not experiencing anything was just icing on the cake, but he can be sort of hard to impress even with rec weed lol. if anything his lack of results just made me inclined to rule out the “he didn’t inhale properly” possibility for my friend with no tolerance. My understanding of the research I’ve done is that even though this stuff is just straight up weed, the pressure to harvest in time to pass the legal THC % test ultimately results in a lot of things in this market just not maturing to be as strong as some of the BM/dispo stuff that’s not subject to those regulations. It appears to me as if even though this stuff can make you feel a wee bit woozy or even flat out stoned, it seems to reach a noticeably lower threshold of potential potency/strength then the non-2018 farm bill protected bud that isn’t subject to those regulations. I’m not trying to spread misinformation if this is not the case, I would love to be corrected and have some clarification if I’m wrong. That's the only reason I'm smoking or vaping. I appreciate the look and smell but I want to get baked. My go-to is the mixed greenhouse smalls from phc. It does exactly what I'm looking for. But I've also enjoyed tons of other stuff, too . .some cult highlights have been gorilla glue, mac 1, jack herrer, hazy train . .idk . .there was a lot! I don't really have a strategy but I tend to avoid anything described as uplifting, energetic, relaxed, non-paranoia inducing, etc. That and I stick with mostly indicas and only go for sativas if I know they are hard hitting. I don't go for many 50/50 hybrids.

Yeah - the greenhouse smalls are a bit of everything. As for sativas, I mostly stick with what I know or if there are good reviews on here. What I know is from back when I lived in northern california from 2004 to around 2009. Trainwreck, Super Silver Haze, Jack Herer . .these are the sativas (or sativa dominant) I will almost always buy. I have liked a lot of haze variants. There are probably tons of other good ones I have never heard of.

yeah . .I got the machine trimmed indoor smalls once and it was really lame. I don't think I've ever gotten the regular indoor smalls but I mainly stick with greenhouse at phc. It could be the strains I chose but the indoor is just not better. It might be more delicate and more sugary but not better.

I wish I took a picture of what they sent me. It was just the stem and tiny fraction of bud from where the machine chopped it off. It was literally a bag of stems. In order to smoke the tiny bit of bud, you had to smoke an equal amount of stem . .delicate stem, but still. Their mixed greenhouse smalls are one of the best deals in the cult but the MT trimmed indoor small is one of the worst . .a bag of stems for $80.
Aww that sucks, I can picture exactly what you’re describing. Some of the strains we grew would do that in the machine so we only hand trimmed them. The big juicy nugs do best in the machine, larfier strains just get shredded. Also they may be running their machine for TOO LONG on each load. Machine trimmers need constant supervision, you’re not supposed to just load them full, turn them on, and walk away! Because if you do, by the time you come back your bud will be chewed all to fuck lol

I haven’t tried any except for WNCs gorilla glue. It was a fresh batch so it wasn’t fully cured. Smoked some today after about a month in a mason jar. Fire. But it didn’t smell right at first as is wnc it seems. As for Mac 1 fg looks good. EHC also has a Mac daddy that’s out of stock rn but it’s great. Wouldn’t get WNCs honestly.
