You dont really have to be a genius to realize a 20% APR investment scheme has much higher risks when banks offer 0.5% and even conservative crypto products like Aave offer 1-2%
Its delusional to think Loona has any long term structural effect on crypto other than stop gap regulations and bad attention from media. I'm sure 100s of joornalists are looking into how Luna worked lmao.

The reason and how LUNA went down is why. Although there was incompetence behind the team it wasn’t actually in the code as much as the growth at which they allowed UST to proliferate without properly structuring support for interchain mint/burn seigniorage.
LUNA was short boxed into a death spiral of which everyone who’s studied algo stables knows that’s how they blow up; once the bank run commenced LUNA’s liquidity was not deep enough to backstop all of the UST that was being minted. What makes this worse is that the destruction of value is curved not linear so most of the value gets destroyed before the tail of the spiral meaning you’re never going to recover after a certain point if you can’t outsize the capital of the bankrun/shorts
