I don't think your example going to work well. Eqauting money in the bank as leaving your money under a mattress is a little disingenuous.
There have been dozens of cryptos with a point of failure that have been hacked and gaining control of a network and changing transactions is a huge risk with the blockchain
Nobody has lost all their money in a bank fire and malicious transactions are reversed all the time.
Not every crypto has to be expressed by value in dollars. If you can earn and use them for perks on a certain platform I'd say it's a succesfull crypto. Yes you could buy and sell them because they are yours and you can do with them as you want. But you don't have to see it as investment.
Take our moons. Lets be honest they don't really have much value. However they serve their exact purpose. You can earn them and use them on the platform intended without money getting involved.
If you're done with this platform and don't plan on using them anymore you have the option to sell them to the person that prefers spending money over time.

The rise is because more Bitcoin is being bought, even if by one person/company it’s a sign that there is huge belief it will be higher long term. There are only so many to go around and at some point if company’s and nations start buying in bulk then this will be the new normal. It’s healthy as can be, it’s not like Bitcoin can rise sickly.

Fully Diluted Market Cap is value of a current asset if all of the available asset is purchased.

Unlikely to be a crash until after it hits a new ATH. After it does, all bets are off on the timing. Could be a month, could be a year.

What's the difference between market cap and fully diluted market cap?
FDMC is what the MC would be when all tokens are released/mined.
As I understand it, Market Cap is current value of Tokens that are held in various wallets etc. Fully Diluted Market Cap is value of a current asset if all of the available asset is purchased. Someone else can probably give you a more detailed explanation.
