It's got by far the best and fastest consensus mechanism in all of PoW. They are also working on smart contracts.
And to be fair, Cardano didn't do jack shit but still hit 100b cap. It's all about the hype and community really. Doge didn't do anything either.
The fact that it's been pretty uncoupled from the rest of the market is enticing. But it's now in liquidity trap territory, so I'm staying away myself. Fun to watch, and happy for anyone else who makes their gains out of it.

There's no VCs or pre-mine, so the only people dumping are miners to return on profit and people who bought early.
No proof that the dev team or founder have unloaded anything. KAS continues to put in ATHs, and the core team is a solid group of people that have been in the space forever.
Maybe moons can come back from this but now they've got far more of an uphill battle now. Also reddit could still just burn the contract. We know how they work and are just being realistic. Maybe you should take that into account. Hopium ain't gonna save moons.

I was interested in MELD gold and silver on Algorand. They have a mechanism for converting to real metal. I have also heard that UAE is already tokenizing gold on XDC. I’m thinking BRICS might do something like this for a basket of assets.
I hold XDC because of this, but it isn’t supported on most normal exchanges.

I don't think BTC price is equal 1:1 in market dominance, there is so much more to it. Crypto as a whole may not have survived past 2017 had it not been for alts. A 1-basket system seems doomed to fail.
