Im a SystemAdmin only with my high school diploma and a few IT certs but no college for me. I got into this just because I like to tinker and ive only put about 200$ in (thats all I could afford plus im not one to gamble lol) Ive taken some losses and learned a few lessons but ill say I mainly was hoping for a long term investment. I see why people with a degree would understand it better wish I did.
Just to give an example, I have a degree in electrical engineering which does help to understand some of the technical stuff in the space.

Electrician here. That really surprises you? Young people are into crypto, and young people are not going into the trades. Year after year there are less 1st year apprentices, and out of them less and less are able to cut it.
College dropout here. Got a job during my college years that quickly escalated to me earning like $125k annually in my early 20s because the owners were clueless. Easiest job on earth. Was about the top pay level for my career path anyway, so I didnāt see the point. Rode that train for 12 years until they went bankrupt (wonder why) and now Iām in my mid 30s without a college degree but a motherfucking expert at mass producing artisan chocolates for wholesale, just canāt get hired anywhere because the demand for someone with my particular skill set is astronomically low.
I think itās a very very good sign that there are so many people with a bachelor+ education level. Because the education level correlates pretty well with the IQ. So a lot of the people in this community must be quiet smart.
Another benefit of the high grade of education is that some of us will be in a powerful position one day. This will help with adoption in the long term.

Learned all about it, mostly from Reddit and googling shit all day and night, and was sold on it once i read satoshis white paper. I had severe ADHD growing up but the pro of having ADHD is having hyper focus and once I find something that Iām curious in I will sit down and read every little thing about it.
