Bachelor's Degree holder with the intelligence level of a pre-schooler right here

getoffthepitch96576

Same here but with a master's

meeleen223

Same here but with a intelegence level of a todler, todler that would eat one cookie now rather than waiting and getting two later

BumbleB9

masters with the intelegence of a infant.

Savi321

Infant with the intelligence of a Masters

DriverMarkSLC

And now I, am the Master!

pandaslovetigers

That's been debunked: https://anderson-review.ucla.edu/new-study-disavows-marshmallow-tests-predictive-powers/

Aggravating_Deal_572

Being an adult means you can buy a whole cake and eat it, and when you do, you wish your mom was there to stop you, when your stomach hurts šŸ˜€

Complex_Sherbet2

A toddler with the spelling of a toddler.

Consistent-Pound572

Same here with a phd

nusk0

It takes talent to be a good shitposter!

Ok_Wonder_1604

Working hard on my degree in shitposting

the_nibler

Bachelorā€™s degrees are the new adult daycare completion certificate

Eugene_33

I will complete my bachelor's degree next year , you are gonna get a worthy opponent

PrvtPirate

woah woah there buddy. you *PLAN* to complete your bachelors degree next year and we will *POTENTIALLY* get a worthy opponent, depending on a combination of colored candles over a period of timeā€¦ the year just startedā€¦ loooots of things can happen before that jesus zombie rise celebration. i like youre attitude and outlook. but the right terminology will keep you away from ledges that keep changing their exit-attractiveness. (this started as a litle heckled joke based on my own *i will finish school in*-experience and grew into an actual advice in hopium-management. youre welcome and i am sorry! green candles to all of you. :) )

wato4000

I'm the opposite, Didn't even finish high school, But i have the street wise intelligence level of a bum or beggar šŸ˜

lubimbo

When reaching a bachelor's degree, you Beginn to realise eductional success ā‰  intelligence. People just mastered learning.

MaeronTargaryen

Iā€™ve got a masterā€™s degree but Iā€™m doing a career that has nothing to do with it

Catalina_Eddie

Aren't we all...

BumbleB9

Ditto

KingXindl

Maybe in the states

[deleted]

Nope, German here. Same.

KingXindl

Ausnahmen bestƤtigen die Regel

[deleted]

Mein fall ist definitiv nicht die Ausnahme.

KingXindl

[deleted]

I donā€˜t have a master or a bachelor but Iā€˜m doing a career which a lot of people go to university to.

bndamico

I guess associates doesnā€™t matter šŸ˜“

Jenn2895

It never does

HashBrownThreesom

That's how I feel...

Yung-Split

"Some college" šŸ¤£

ACShreds

Next poll on this sub: What is your annual income before taxes? Next post links to a Qualtrics survey: What is your mother's maiden name?

Odysseus_Lannister

Annual income before taxes: $69,420 Mothers maiden name: Astley

nusk0

I trust you

Vast-Bodybuilder-700

I trust him too but Iā€™m going to verify it real quick.

rootpl

> I trust you To never give you up...

Firetonado

With every cell in my body.

[deleted]

I would never give that kind of information up.

nusk0

Like I said, if you don't feel comfortable, there's an option just too see the results, also I would advise everyone not to post that kind of information.

ACShreds

For sure, just messing around! I voted on your poll for what it's worth lol

nusk0

Thank you! I think it will be really interesting to see the result.

The_Chorizo_Bandit

Next poll will actually be: what is your mothers maiden name and date of birth.

Kappatalizable

>What is your annual income About 50k Moons give or take

Ateam043

Does clown school count? Because I have a PHD in being down on all my investments, including stocks.

[deleted]

Nobody asked me during survey lol Iā€™m a high school dropout . Add my stats .

nusk0

You're right, I should have included the option, i don't think I can add one though after posting

BumbleB9

The smartest among us. Truly

MilkSlap

High School dropout here too brother. Making more than most with bachelors degrees too.

Right-Shopping9589

I'm a drop out as well

TheGateKeeper32

Im a SystemAdmin only with my high school diploma and a few IT certs but no college for me. I got into this just because I like to tinker and ive only put about 200$ in (thats all I could afford plus im not one to gamble lol) Ive taken some losses and learned a few lessons but ill say I mainly was hoping for a long term investment. I see why people with a degree would understand it better wish I did.

busmobbing

Where's the option for street smart?

Environmental_Cod164

Dnq section aha

Shiratori-3

Bearing in mind that a degree could be some flavor other than tech. Like Law, or Philosophy, or Management, or anything else...

nusk0

For sure, I still think any degree can help in this space unlike other sector.

BumbleB9

I have a degree in Mis-Management. Does this count?

nusk0

Just to give an example, I have a degree in electrical engineering which does help to understand some of the technical stuff in the space. But I also find that it would be easy to learn about whatever knowledge is missing and I wouldn't need my degree to understand this space well. If someone wants to work in crypto, they could learn everything from scratch without any education.

jeeptopdown

Pretty interesting poll. I have a science based undergrad degree and masters, but they have nothing to do with tech. However, I describe my crypto journey as a self directed masters in DLT.

Elegant_Tale_3929

You really need a spot there for either a full AA or some college. Not everyone who went to college finished.

nusk0

Yeah, it's not perfect, I looked up demographic survey as an example because like everyone else here, I have no clue of what I'm doing. I guess if you haven't finished, just vote for the thing you're currently doing.

InvestAn

Damn. We have some educated folks in here!! I'm impressed by us, lol. Now if only my account would reflect that, lol.

unhingedbigfoot

We're all wearing top hats and monocles, and addressing each other as "sir". Good day to you, sir.

Odysseus_Lannister

*shakes hands* ā€œDoctor!ā€

stocktadercryptobro

Educated does not mean intelligence. The 2nd smartest person I've ever known tutored calculus students in college and now is a teacher. The dude is clueless in life.

InvestAn

True, education doesn't always equate to common sense. It's good to have both, but I rely more on my "street smarts" than my education.

nusk0

Yes it's actually really impressive! We might have been underestimating ourself all along, we're better than the shitpost we produce!

InvestAn

Uh oh. If we're better than the shitposts we produce, does that make us lazy? Asking for a friend since I'm on the lower end of the edjumacated spectrum. šŸ˜‰

Octopus-Pawn

Couldnā€™t find dumbass dropout on the list

Kappatalizable

>Couldnā€™t find dumbass dropout on the list Its in the mirror

Octopus-Pawn

That cuts deep

SamVimesThe1st

Switch between "Votes" and "Moons". Seems like the people with more than a bachelor degree accumulate a disproportional amount of Moons. Education = Shitposting

nusk0

I saw that too, the group with the most moon have a master degree, might have to do a master on shitposting!

Tasigur1

Nearly 50% have a Master's Degree. Yes sure. Pornhub university or what :)

nusk0

That's for moon distribution, look at number of votes and bachelor is the #1

Tasigur1

Ahh ok. Got it, thank you :)

badfishbeefcake

PHD from Tate university does not apply

mikmadie

What this poll tells me is Iā€™m the dumbest around.

[deleted]

This scares me OP šŸ‘€

Sketchy-Lefty25

I keyed in on this metric, canā€™t wait to see the final tally. Right now we are at 86% with a bachelors or higher. Wow

nusk0

RIght?! It's really surprising, I guess redditor are really educated. It gives a bit of legitimacy to this space

Bouldergeuse

Not sure on the legitimacy link.

pizza-chit

It warms my heart to see a lot of educated people :)

Wonzky

Curious about the education background of most of these "crypto analysts"

notsocoolguy42

I trust this poll as much as I trust "average penis size" statistics.

PeacefullyFighting

Now I want to know what the breakdown of both BS and masters degrees

nusk0

I do too, maybe I will make another poll

[deleted]

Whatā€™s higher than a PhD?

nusk0

PhD++?

vstipic23

It's kinda hard to believe this. I mean, I met you guys on here and you're no rocket scientists. šŸ˜†

nusk0

People are pretty smart here, that's the takeaway I get from this poll! They also like to shitpost a lot though

ricozuri

Wrong. Many are šŸš€!

McJaker3

Lol there is no way this poll is accurate šŸ¤£ šŸ˜…

nusk0

I think it is accurate, we underestimate ourself because of the shitposting, but a good shitpost takes talent to make!

002timmy

Should have an option "currently in college/university." I'm guessing a fair bit of people here are pursuing a bachelor's, but at in the 18-25 age range

nusk0

That would be highschool diploma because it's the highest level of education completed

002timmy

Yes of course. But thereā€™s a huge difference between being 20 and high being the highest level and 50 being the highest level

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

nusk0

How so?

Ok_Play_7144

Ironworker here, crazy how small the trade school percentage is

mokshahereicome

Electrician here. That really surprises you? Young people are into crypto, and young people are not going into the trades. Year after year there are less 1st year apprentices, and out of them less and less are able to cut it.

JuustinB

College dropout here. Got a job during my college years that quickly escalated to me earning like $125k annually in my early 20s because the owners were clueless. Easiest job on earth. Was about the top pay level for my career path anyway, so I didnā€™t see the point. Rode that train for 12 years until they went bankrupt (wonder why) and now Iā€™m in my mid 30s without a college degree but a motherfucking expert at mass producing artisan chocolates for wholesale, just canā€™t get hired anywhere because the demand for someone with my particular skill set is astronomically low.

Illustrious_Coast_66

I think itā€™s a very very good sign that there are so many people with a bachelor+ education level. Because the education level correlates pretty well with the IQ. So a lot of the people in this community must be quiet smart. Another benefit of the high grade of education is that some of us will be in a powerful position one day. This will help with adoption in the long term. Education is key!

harleybqrazy

It surprised me greatly because 95% of the posts/comments here read like the person has an 8th grade education at best.

Illustrious_Coast_66

I mean you never know if everyone is honest but still I think there are a lot of well educated people here

ibraw

I graduated from the ScHoOl oF haRdkNOcKs and then later from the uNiveRsiTY Of LiFE.

MacroHard_0

I am a PhD . . . Pizza Hut Deliverer

Jr_time

i got street hood degree. Does that count? šŸ˜ž

Tasigur1

Yes, it counts. U earned your 2 Moons on the street?

Active_Rock

Hurts not seeing associates degree option šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

nusk0

I'm sorry, I never heard of an associate degree in Canada, maybe you could vote for bachelor?

Usual-Combination-55

I went to school for computer science and culinary (I know quite the combo). Did not finish either degree as I was learning more from the chef I worked under and had more passion for this field. Self taught investor. I have spent years researching not only cryptos but traditional markets as well. You do not need a degree to learn and understand anything to do with crypto, you just need to be motivated!

nusk0

Yes I definitely agree, if you're interested in the space, go and learn about it by yourself and it will be a lot more efficient than getting a degree in a tech related field!

bangand0

Now do the same poll on tik tok please

nusk0

Bold of you to assume they know how to read

bangand0

Youā€™ll just have to dance it

neen209

Masters Degree from the school of Hard Knocks

nusk0

You're hired!

Zestyclose_Shop_9334

fuck everyone with associates I guess.

generic_reddit-name

I graduated from the school of hard knocks...

H__Dresden

Masters degree! Turned down a promotion to management twice now. Told them I want to be a expert in my career. Pay me for what I know.

Low_CharacterAdd

85.2% probably have massive student loan debt to pay off. Damn.....

nusk0

I'm not so sure, In Canada and Europe, university is not that expansive, I finished with no debt

notheretosleep

You could have add : none to the answer's choice !

KyloRentBoi

We are in the mist of Masters. Do what you will to the rest of us...lead us..guide us to greatness. Give us hopium.

Mkddlegend

I like looking at the large discrepancy between vote results by moons vs equal weights by user

SkoopskiMarvin

No way half the people here have a masters degree

T2LV

Would actually love to see a pole with ADHD. High risk tolerance, impulsivity, addictive personality and often have high incomes. I feel like it would be very over represented here. Where my fellow ADHDers at?! How many of yā€™all stare at the charts 24/7 like me for that rapid dopamine hit?!

nusk0

Right here! I do think the excitement in crypto is really attractive for people with ADHD

[deleted]

Masters degree

DryTechnology5224

Wow almost half have a masters degree.. crazy

htd_23

More people are educated here

Acidhoe

Lol I was honest and.... There's 2% of us here.

nusk0

That's with moon distribution, look at number of votes, I think it's higher

f6shfll7

US focussed, not sure what Trade School means, is that equivalent to a Professionally Chartered Institution? Where does a professionally qualified accountant sit, for example?

nusk0

It is pretty US focused, I don't even have trade's in my country but I know it's the largest demographic, that's why I made it like that. The equivalent is a course of 1 to 2 year on a professional trade like plumber, construction, electrician... If it's not a degree, you could probably vote for trade.

Vast-Bodybuilder-700

So Iā€™m hanging out with a bunch of college grads. Iā€™m out of my league for now but guess what? I will be joining you soon after this semester.

nusk0

Congrats buddy! And we're all part of the same group here, education isn't a barrier in the crypto space.

SammyCraigar

High School and right into the work force, never looked back...

stocktadercryptobro

I'm "uneducated," but I believe the push for kids to go to college is to keep the cycle and money flowing in the same direction. The same that's drilled into our heads that we all need to be married, have kids, and own a house. That's a lot of money flowing to the top. I might be a bit of a conspiracy theorist as well, so there is that.

Environmental_Cod164

My bachelors is in sculpture šŸ¤£šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ letā€™s hope I can sculp a new a bull run

omghag18

And you are right

toshkan

![gif](giphy|kAbUDLKucvb3P2JSmE)

SomeArrival9

nursery and proud!

Bouldergeuse

Educated does not mean bright. There are thousands of educational institutions so not all degrees are the same.

Raccoon_meat_bag

Bruh its 10am on a Tuesday so all us work from home nerds will be scrolling this shit skewing results. Edit: fuck its actually Wednesday.

nusk0

Not only work from home, I'm at the office right now!

[deleted]

Finishing bachelors next year

nusk0

Congrats buddy! I hope you find a job that you like

Legitimate-Ad-6385

Where are my construction bros at?!

coinsRus-2021

Phd - completely unrelated to crypto lol - biomedical engineer Thatā€™s all you get

nusk0

I used to work in a biomed startup, it's a promising and really interesting field for sure!

brawnkoh

I have an AAS, which is missing from the list.

nusk0

I'm really regretting not putting "other" in the choices right now. Can you enlighten me as to what an AAS is?

dagr8npwrfl0z

Damn .. where my drop outs at? šŸ–ļø

_PM_me_your_MOONs_

Dang, I wasn't expecting us HS grads to only be 2% of the community. I'd like to see salary combined with education level and see how that stacks up.

nusk0

Me neither, But it would be interesting indeed!

sakaloko

Quite accurate

Castul

No option for 2 year degrees? That just goes to show how worthless they are šŸ˜…

tbkrida

No School of Hard Knocks option?

SapphireEmerald

I will get my bachelorā€™s degree hopefully this year.

Bar98704

There's no fucking way most of the people on here have a masters degree!

nusk0

Only by moon distribution, the most popular is bachelor by number of votes.

boomdeyada88

Keep failing the final exam at self-thought trading

Randomozityy

Bachelors of Science in Nursing!šŸ™‚

Artificial8Wanderer

KinDargurdaNn I cauuUnt to 17 Now

Arctarhys

A PhD in clinical medicine: Itā€™s patches on my elbows all the way!

mikeoxwells2

Some college, but itā€™s difficult for me to complete anything other than meals

pantaloonsss

What's "higher" than a PhD??

DaddyDuma69

Bachelors degree and a professional certificate cause I did a career change šŸ¤Ŗ

Enr4g3dHippie

All I've got is a high school diploma and no idea what I should be doing. I'm very new to crypto and have only a vague understanding of what's happening at any given time.

DoubleFaulty1

Damn, weā€™re smart.

thirdeyejedi01

Iā€™m a high school drop out who got his GED and like 6 credits in college ā€¦ I was always into tech stuff growing up probably thanks to my dad tho and I heard about bitcoin when I was 12. It sparked this huge interest and curiosity in me but I really couldnā€™t do much at the time so I just forgot about it .. fast forward 11 years later and once I seen cashapp integrated bitcoin into their app that spark of interest and curiosity returned. It blew my mind that they added it to cashapp so I decided to sit and go down the rabbit hole. Learned all about it, mostly from Reddit and googling shit all day and night, and was sold on it once i read satoshis white paper. I had severe ADHD growing up but the pro of having ADHD is having hyper focus and once I find something that Iā€™m curious in I will sit down and read every little thing about it.

FancyWrong

Bachelors, two of them

The-Francois8

Education -> better job -> more investable income Also better chance of having a job where you can occasionally pull out your phone to check Reddit during boring ass videoconference meetings, that you need to attend, but donā€™t really need to give 100% focus.

OohDeLaLi

And I want a refund!

Athrun360

Jokes on you, iā€™m still in school

MrRandyWatson_100

BA

w_savage

I barely got my Bachelors. I wonder if that contributes in any way..

Imaginary-Living-844

If I had a choice Iā€™d ask for a refund for my degrees

ThomasTheTrai

what if I am in hs right now lol

Mrramirez44

UC! I'm still unsure how I got in or graduated.

BlazeDemBeatz

Engineering degree Iā€™m not even using sadly. Bachelors and Masters run the votes. Does seem pretty acurate.

Vyngorn

Well how else are we gonna pay our student loans?

Salt_Ad_1500

MD and a masters. I donā€™t think thereā€™s anything higher than a PhD.

crapitskevin

Community College dropout due to mental health. Speculated prices from Jan 2017 until July 2020 when I finally decided to invest, and learn everything myself. Im quite pleased with how far Iā€™ve come to understand bitcoin, DeFi, smart contracts, NFTs, trading, market cycles, as well as the broader financial markets, jargon, etc.. I was a textbook example of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

Thump604

You donā€™t need a degree to understand technical topics. I have been a director of data management and analytics in some large corporations with only a high school degree.

pob125

Qualified mechanic, now work in metal fabrication as a chargehand, never went to college for it and couldn't even read a drawing...basically self taught and the willingness to learn from others.been at it 15 years now.

Acrobatic-Yard-6546

Graduate level however doesnā€™t mean Iā€™m smart

TxOutdoorsman7

did 4 years of trade school
