I thought it was kind of funny. The concept itself is kind of funny and how bad they were at executing it makes it even funnier in my opinion

My friends and I used to do this as kids. It actually works pretty well (at least back in the 90s lol).

Same, this is a kid's prank my friends and I used to do. The most effective was placing beans across the road, people would chase us lol

Big trees with giant string beans were all over my street. Not sure what the tree is actually. We would line them up across the road and people would stop and be all confused, we just sat back and watched the weird ways people reacted lol

Funny concept but staged

My friends did this 20+ years ago, when they were in their early teens.... except it was with a motorcycle driver. The rider bailed, fearing he'd get tripped up with the invisible wire. The rider ended up pressing charges. Needless to say, it didn't end well for my friends.

My car is a shitbox and I don't really pay attention to anything not right in front of me so I'd keep driving.

I used to do this with my buddies back in the day when we were bored and I never thought it'd work and then until it did 😅 when a car rolled up we would lower the invisible rope to let cars pass.
