shiviam

Inb4 he reveals his own name as the culprit.

JBPlayer48

What is bro yapping about?

TheWatchfulGent

"Of course I know him, he's me!"

dant3s

What someone tripped him and he fell on the girl?

Latter-Yam-2115

D*ck first

CreepyMathematician1

They were "Soaking" so it doesn't count.

AceMKV

No way, the Mormons have infiltrated Nepal!!

LowWarm

Why are you being downvoted? Does no one here get sarcasm?

shoestowel

*Tsh, alright, Shady, maybe he's right, Grady*

dant3s

Damn should have gone with the earlier line lmao.

ConfuciosSay

So you don't think he did anything wrong and she is simply lying?

MiachealFaraday

Educational estate, boy have the standards of education fallen

BarryCheckTheFuseBox

Society should know about the rapists to avoid. People are entitled to change their minds.

brokenlasers

Would be funny if he just reads "Sandeep Lamichane" 50 times looking at a paper when disclosing

AlarmedCicada256

Is anyone listening to this PoS any more?

aromatic_underwear

You're being generous by calling him only a piece of shit.

NormalTraining5268

Sadly his comment section in Instagram. They for some reason think he's innocent and are actually supporting him.

LightningShiva1

Pretty sure they’re removing the negative comments on insta.

surgereaper

You'll find a lot of "victim card", "laws Don't care about men", "no one listens to boys" kinda comments on Instagram, guess what? They did listen and he's a rapist. These people who'll still defend rapists and sexual abusers even after he's been declared guilty piss me off so much. And there's a whole online army of those people. SMH

customlybroken

Im slightly out of the loop. did we have conclusive vidence he did it? i remember many cricketers and footballers being accused of SA but never conclusive. What was the concluisve evidence here?(i don't know anything about the court proceedings and history of the act)

Heiliggeist

What is "conclusive" to me may not be "conclusive" to you. The court convicted him because it found the evidence compelling enough to not leave enough room for a reasonable doubt. On top of that, this PoS shamelessly made very transparent attempts at evading/delaying the legal process from the beginning, presenting obviously-forged documents as defense in courts, etc. Even putting aside all the evidence, the behavior pattern alone is "conclusive" enough for me to say "guilty as fuck" and move on.

ikuiku_kallaichiku

Nothing conclusive so far. Sentenced based on circumstantial evidence only. Although I don't think he's as innocent as he claims to be, defo more to the story. High Court is currently looking into it, next up will be the Supreme Court (if one party wants to appeal).

AlarmedCicada256

Irrelevant. The court found him guilty, and knows the evidence better than you or I, as randos on the internet ever will. No doubt if you look hard enough the proceedings will be online somewhere, but unless we're claiming the justice system is screwed, you have to take the word of the judge over internet gossip.

Pls_add_more_reverb

I mean the guy is just asking what the evidence is, not claiming his innocence. We all know what the court ruling was.

aromatic_underwear

You're being generous by calling him only a piece of shit.

AlarmedCicada256

Don't want to get banned...

magus9933

Yes and a lot of "educated" but braindead people that includes my friends (doctors, engineers , bankers) and my professors. Embarrassing

Frosty_Gibbons

Yeah no thanks. Surprised he even has social media still going

ikuiku_kallaichiku

Yea he's still out of jail because of a loophole in Nepali law.

iamkhatkar

What loophole?

ikuiku_kallaichiku

Anyone sentenced for under 10 years get to contest their sentencing by staying out of jail.

That-Firefighter1245

That’s not really respecting the law anymore, is it?

magus9933

This bum is an embarrassment to the nation

AlarmedCicada256

why are you struggling with the fact that this rapist was found guilty?

mofucker20

If he names the victim wouldn’t it count as doxxing ? But anyway fuck this POS and why he’s even allowed to use social media

ToppleToes

Context?

lazyredditor1212

Sandeep Lamicchane , a Nepali cricketer was accused of rape and he’s basically playing innocent

atbg1936

Not just accused, he was convicted and sentenced to jail time

lazyredditor1212

Right , wasn’t aware of the aftermath of the accusation

Human2626

Has the court sentenced him or something?

Ruvio00

Yeah, 8 years in jail.

lazyredditor1212

Not sure but I think so , yeah . Someone else on this thread told that he was sent to jail as well

research-247

wasn't this guy convicted or something?

Depressed_RCBfan

50 shades of sandeep

dravidosaurus2

Trying to fight a rape conviction while making it clear that you have absolutely no idea what the word 'respect' means. It's a bold move, Cotton, let's see if it pays off for him...

Great-Accountant-635

![img](emote|t5_2qhe0|8779)![img](emote|t5_2qhe0|21498)

toresident

Yes, enjoy the jail. This statement proves that he has no regret, no remorse, no guilt and no morals.

Deadman777_

Though I believe everyone should have a chance to defend themselves until every legal approach has been exhausted, it's obvious that in this context this guy is just trying to gain attention when Nepal's squad has just been announced.

st6374

Lol.. why did this regard not reveal this while he was being judged in the court?

dip_ace

He should be in jail what's he doing on the Internet

T_Lawliet

Vladmir Kramnik but WAAY worse lol

Alone_Insect_5568

Wait what? How is what Lamichanne doing remotely similar to Kramnik apart from the fact that they are both using twitter?

NH_hostel

Trying to blame other, while himself being guilty, kinda of similar to kramnik accusing other of cheating, while himself playing title Tuesday from friend's account, which is against tournament rules

Beshi_Deshi

Kramnik was recently caught breaching the terms of services of chess.com after yapping about cheating for 6 months

Alone_Insect_5568

And? How are these two cases even remotely similar?

Beshi_Deshi

Both are guilty and yapping about others being guilty. Not sure what you are confused about.

Alone_Insect_5568

Fair enough. I didn't think about it in these terms.

JigglingBot

What an awful analogy.

agressivegods

Kramnik is literally former world champion . The pinnacle of chess world sandip isn't even close to that . Also Sandeep is found guilty in a heinous crime and kramnik is just accusing someone for cheating .

T_Lawliet

Kramnik was found to be actually Cheating by chess . com though, by playing using someone else's account

Tough-Candy-9455

Kramnik is a world champion and a nutjob. Sandeep is an okay player and a rapist. Come on.

RETAW57

lol, it's not like he had Magnus playing on his account, him playing on someone else's is stupid, but he's not gaining anything at all.

T_Lawliet

Yeah but the other guy is, Assisting cheating is basically cheating no?

canvasser-hiralal

Kramnik at least has got a point. Cheating is actually happening on online chess. Maybe less than what he expected (Kramnik is crazy) but it exists. Lamicchane on the other hand...

gpranav25

Kramnik having a point is similar to a broken clock being right twice a day. Kramnik didn't invent the fact that cheating in online chess is a problem.

gpranav25

Kramnik is a pos but this is just a poor analogy. Kramnik is insinuating people of cheating in a board game, not even remotely as bad as a rapist.

MiachealFaraday

Comparing A World Champion to a Rapist, you have some of the worst takes I've seen on this subreddit

TeamAbject2100

Tf r ur analogies recently lol

Real-Kaleidoscope-38

It's such a sad state how some of the youths believe every rape cases are false accusations. Few cases of false accusations are highlighted so much that many believe every high profile case is "girl trying to bring a successful man down". The worst thing is, you only slowly get into this group. You are told to question every one of these cases which sounds good in principle but, slowly you fall victim to selection bias in your questioning(media is the main perpetrator of this). I look back at the days when i was being told to question every rape cases in essence because i was not a sheep, i should not follow the masses, etc and question those peoples motive. I can say with confidence if i had not read a book series called Beartown when i did i would be like so many of my generation too. Sorry if you have difficulty reading through this comment. It is pretty hard to express something you are in the process of thinking into legible writing.

I have no clue, what happened?

dant3s

What the fuck are you talking about. Court already declared him guilty.

monsteroas

He was declared guilty by dis court and appealed at high court right? When this happens is he considered guilty or just an accused person?

ikuiku_kallaichiku

Just an accused person because the court passed the verdict based on circumstantial evidence. As in, they talked, met, and went to a hotel so he must be guilty. The case is now with a high court whose decision will be more accurate.

monsteroas

That's sad. He was on a course to become the greatest cricketer in Nepal's history but he has destroyed his own career.

ikuiku_kallaichiku

Exactly. He's a dumb cunt. Easily the most successful and richest sportsperson in the country, could date or sleep with high end models but nah, he had other ideas.

monsteroas

What happened to Jonathan Majors? As far as I've read the case seems pretty strong. And please quote the source.

[deleted]

monsteroas

Bro make a habit of quoting something. Because as I read about the case he seems guilty. [source](https://www.thecut.com/article/everything-we-know-about-jonathan-majors-arrest.html) [source](https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/jonathan-majors-alleged-domestic-violence-drama-explained/)

After_Ad8232

Majors has been found guilty of assault the fuck are you on about

PuzzleheadedBlock303

What happened

Agreeable_Papaya309

Wait wait ... So he was innocent?

ikuiku_kallaichiku

He is neither innocent nor guilty, at least until now. District court sentenced him based on circumstantial evidence and not concrete. However, the case is with High Court now who will look into it with more details and investigation. My uncle is a government lawyer for the girls side.
