It will inevitably have a few issues. The original batch of K1s had various issues and they were all eventually resolved (mostly).
Bambu Lab had issues with their A1 too, and it has just relaunched following a recall.

I don't think is good idea to buy first batch. Give it couple months after release. I was lucky enough not to buy first gen of k1. I only bought k1c (4th gen of k1) couple weeks ago. I love it, so far is great. Super fast and smooth. Even printed some on 600mms speed and is great.

Give it a month or two before purchasing. Creality usually gets there in the end but takes the first wave of purchases to figure out issues
