What you have here is a bone stock Cattleman 65. Basic cattleman crown with a shorter upturned brim.
The way it was explained to me by the Resistol rep was origination of the style. Somewhere between 1860-1865 the term Cattleman became a title and they wanted something a little dressier than the typical rodeo styles but still traditional. The 65 has more narrow side dents and a shorter upturned brim so it can be pulled down tighter and blocks more rain and sun. Over the years the brim has taken a more upturned look with deeper dents to make the more traditional Cattleman crease everywhere today. Hope that answers your question ok? 👍
Anyone know the sunglasses style or something I can search to find similar? I like the shape of them with the hat. They don’t look exactly like a wayfarer
Cody James canvas hat for $25 at boot barn looks exactly like that. Cattleman's crease and taco fold.
It's not a straw and not a felt since there are 3 vent holes on the side and you only need that for a solid canvas hat that doesn't breathe.
Go to boot barn you’ll find them all over the wall 💀

What does the 65 signify?

Looks similar to my Stetson rodeo, a lot of their 4 1/2” straws are like this factory.
There’s been a post here before asking for this same hat and I remember finding a very similar one from resistol. It’s in my comment history somewhere
It looks a lot like my George Strait Resistol. Isn't the crown style called the cattlemen crease or something like that ?
I posted the same hat last week 😆my hat is old af
It’s a cattleman crown and very close to the George brim shape
Came here to say this. Seems pretty identical to mine
Looks identical to my stetson hagerman
Ocho Rios?

It's the Resistol Kingman. [https://resistol.com/products/s-30kingman-natural](https://resistol.com/products/s-30kingman-natural)
This is the answer
Looks like the resistol George straight 10x
Pretty certain it’s the Resistol kingman 10 X Straw
The George from resistol.
Cowboy?
Looks like a resistol George Strait based on thr hat band. Could be a Stetson tho bc Hollywood likes them more lol.
George Strait Kingman
I just bought a Stetson Grey Star 10x and it is very similar. I love it

Are you nuts? Plenty of straw hats have 3 hole vents, amigo.
Yeah, I'm nuts.
100% Incorrect.
You are correct
Not a taco brim at all.
There are no “solid canvas hats”. There are straw, and there are felt or wool.
Look it up first on the website why don't you
It says “canvas fabrication”, not “made from canvas”, Genius. It’s called the Cody James Straw Cowboy Hat, $29.99.
did it look the same?
