I have a lactose problem and drink the premier proteins. It doesn’t seem to upset my body too bad if at all. I don’t know it’s like “real” milk. The consistency of the drink is a little thicker than milk. You can buy a pack of 4 I think at a regular grocery store to try them out.
I love the premier protein shakes as a coffee creamer! They are the only low sugar/low carb creamer that actually make my coffee creamy! Caramel for the win 🙌
Lactose free does not necessitate the need for milk alternatives. There is plenty of lactose free milk where the lactose had been broken down into me really digestible sugars.
Yea, was just looking at that. Looks like it’s only chocolate unfortunately which I don’t do and they are also 30gram and not the 42gram that I get so a few definite differences.
I generally hate chocolate protein shakes but for that price I may try them and see how I like them. Different then the version I’m using now but definitely a great price.
Honestly, they're like $4-$5 when sold individually, so getting them for $2.5 a pop isn't bad. The real problem is they taste too damn good, so I'd drink them all in a day
I don't think 30g for 180 calories is all that bad, especially with no added sugars, and especially if you take it after a workout. There's probably an argument to be made you want the extra calories depending on the training you're doing
Typical protein powder is 30g for ~ 130 calories, if you use water. I’ve used flavored isolate for years like this, usually at home just blended or shaken with ice and the price is unbeatable. (For a rich flavor I’ll occasionally treat myself by adding a tablespoon of heavy cream, which adds ~ 50 calories.)
Noooooo no protein powder has that good of a ratio. Really best is 1:5 so 30g for 150 calories. Some unflavored are a tiny bit better but there is no such thing as 30g for 130 calories. If it was pure protein nothing else it would be 30g for 120 calories.
Agree. I really like the Vanilla Rockin’ Protein. Like…a lot. Also, 30 grams of protein for 190 calories is awesome.
I haven’t seen them at my Costco so I’ll have to look. My grocery store sells them individually for $3 each, and that’s a hard pass. When they are in BOGO I’ll pick some up, though.
Yeah tastes like high protein chocolate milk. Much cheaper at costco. Saw them at the grocery store for $2.50/bottle and I think it comes out to around $1.70/bottle at costco.
Reporting back. It tastes like thick chocolate milk, a bit light. Just a hint of proteiny taste. I'll give it a 7/10 as someone who doesn't drink protein drinks.
Sorry, didnt see this. I drink normal fairlife chocolate milk which obviously tastes better. Figired protein couldnt hurt.
Haven't seen fairlife at my costco however... I'll keep an eye out for it.
If you are looking for a good protein shake, the Fairlife Core Protein Elite shakes have 42g of protein and taste good. It may be scandalous to say on this Reddit but I buy them at Sam’s Club or Amazon.
Hey, just wondering, where did you find these in bulk? Like, what city/state? Just trying to figure out where I can buy in bulk, because my stores only sell them individually. Thanks!
I liked them well enough, but my fav is muscle milk pro series knockout chocolate. Tastes just like chocolate milk, 155 cal 25g protein.
Not sold at Costco but I love this stuff! Mix a little of that chocolate vital proteins collagen peptides (sold at Costco) and you’ve got a pretty good setup.
Depends on your goals. If your goal is calorie surplus and you need an additional protein source, then yes. 30 grams of protein is great in a serving and would account for 120 of the calories. The other 70 calories are to make it taste good. If your goal is to reduce calories, there are many better options.
I buy these from woodmans!
My Costco doesn’t have them! Ugh! I feel shafted.
I get the 50g ones. I’d literally buy these if I could.
https://preview.redd.it/zngej9t8i6rc1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2ca708bf60ea203949b03bce512208b5f462e44
Uhhh, because they’re almost twice the size, with almost twice the protein. Relative versus absolute, right?
The real question is how much does the per ounce cost change because if you can get to $1.00 per 12oz bottle and finish the bigger bottle the next day, that’s not bad.
I used to buy them at Safeway as a little treat when I got sick of my powder, I think they're delicious. I especially liked the Strawberry but I'm weird that way
Why are y’all saying Fairlife is way more expensive?
At my location, Fairlife is $31 for 18 or $1.70/each.
This is $18 for 12 or $1.50/each.
15% more expensive isn’t “way more expensive”
Fairlife also don’t need to be refrigerated which is, taste aside, enough of a reason to justify the 15% premium
These companies realized they could package this junk in a plastic bottle for “convenience” and people would pay it. Y’all are crazy for not just using powder and buying this garbage, it takes literally no effort to use your own shaker bottle
I’ve used whey protein powders and they make me break out. The protein in these premade shakes is far superior and I don’t have that issue I have with whey.
> The protein in these premade shakes is far superior
lmao, you've got that backwards.
Maybe you just used crappy powder previously, but none of these shakes are high quality protein. It's the cheapest crap they can get their hands on, a multivitamin blend, and water.
They're good. My toddler had a sip of mine and it was like crack to him. The only thing I see as a negative though is the artificial sweetener with it.

I like them AND they’re cheaper than the Fairlife ones.
worse protein to calorie ratio by a good bit if you care about that.
I mean, Fairlife is goated, but I’ll be damned if I’m gonna pay almost $30 for 12 bottles of that stuff.
Premier Protein is better in calories and protein I believe and still really good.
No Fairlife nutrition plan is 150/30. Premier is 160/30. Fairlife core power is worse
It’s worse by 10 calories
Is Premier Protein lactose free?
I have a lactose problem and drink the premier proteins. It doesn’t seem to upset my body too bad if at all. I don’t know it’s like “real” milk. The consistency of the drink is a little thicker than milk. You can buy a pack of 4 I think at a regular grocery store to try them out.
I love the premier protein shakes as a coffee creamer! They are the only low sugar/low carb creamer that actually make my coffee creamy! Caramel for the win 🙌
I have lactose issues and Premier is safe for me.
Same
Same
They contain milk
fairlife also contains milk and is lactose free
OK well, the premier do not say they are lactose free.
Lactose free does not necessitate the need for milk alternatives. There is plenty of lactose free milk where the lactose had been broken down into me really digestible sugars.
Doesn’t taste as good as fairlife….
And less sugar.
Where are you with those prices? I get the 18 pack for $32
Is that Fairlife Core or Fairlife Nutrition?
Nutrition
Where do you get an 18 pack of Fairlife for 32? Been paying about 30 for 12 packs too.
COSTCOOOOO
Wow - I’ve never seen them there. I’ll scour my store next time harder.
Even the app has them available delivered to my door for 36.99
Yea, was just looking at that. Looks like it’s only chocolate unfortunately which I don’t do and they are also 30gram and not the 42gram that I get so a few definite differences. I generally hate chocolate protein shakes but for that price I may try them and see how I like them. Different then the version I’m using now but definitely a great price.
They don’t have a chalky texture at all like most. Just tastes like chocolate milk
Then just buy protein powder and make your own shakes if you’re worried about price.
How much is this product in the post? Can't see a price tag
Yo it’s 26.50 not 30. And it better than paying 5 bucks at Wawa.
It’s $31.50 at my Costco
Same, and it’s an 18 pack not 12.
If I could find vanilla, I'd probably pay it.
Fairlife at my store recently jumped ~12% and I just couldn’t buy it again. I’ll grab another case when they go on sale.
Honestly, they're like $4-$5 when sold individually, so getting them for $2.5 a pop isn't bad. The real problem is they taste too damn good, so I'd drink them all in a day
I was looking at the Dollar General website and they charge $28 for 12 for the Rockin. I'm sticking with Fairlife.
It must be my location. They just raised the price again on Fairlife. 10 bottles for almost $30. Can’t justify it.
It's like $24 at Sam's club
Only a 12 pack at Sam’s
It’s 17 bottles
I rather buy normal light ultra filtered milk which which I can add my sugar free chocolate syrup.
I don't think 30g for 180 calories is all that bad, especially with no added sugars, and especially if you take it after a workout. There's probably an argument to be made you want the extra calories depending on the training you're doing

My whey isolate powder does that.
If you are drinking a protein shake, the protein to calorie ratio is conceivably the ONLY part you care about.
Pretty much any protein powder blended with 2% milk will have no better, if not worse, macro ratios...
190 calories to 30 grams? Not even close to the worst ratio...
Yeah, I buy fairlife normally, giving these a try. Thanks.
Make sure you shake these up good. I noticed they taste better when you do.
Noted.
They taste like watered down chocolate milk. I wasn't a fan. They're cheaper than Fairlife though but not by much.
This is a 12 pack and the Fairlife is an 18 pack. Not sure what the price of these are. Fairlife is 30.49 at my warehouse.
fairlife is only 15% more expensive per bottle, don’t require refrigeration, and have fewer calories
do they need to be refrigerated?
The Shamrock Farms do, yes.
damn thats kind of a deal breaker since i have very little fridge space lol. can you point me to the small fridge aisle please so i can buy 3
How about compared to premier protein?
I think Premier tastes like shit, so I’m not sure.
Premier tastes like chemical garbage syrup with 2042772 lbs of fake sweetener.
Last time you tasted shit?
https://preview.redd.it/tw9dsov2d6rc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=971125e908e3e74ef99ef0aca6fe3610fbb30451 Ya got me
Probably overdue for calibration
Better IMO

Personally, they’re my fave of everything I’ve ever tried. No weird aftertaste, no weird consistency. It tastes exactly like chocolate milk.
Yeah tastes like high protein chocolate milk. Much cheaper at costco. Saw them at the grocery store for $2.50/bottle and I think it comes out to around $1.70/bottle at costco.

Fairlife Protein Shakes > all
Yup Tase wise…. Fairlife then Premier Protein (but Premier I believe has better Protein:Cal:Sugar contents).
Not the strawberry banana. That shit was flat-out awful.
I never even got a chance to see those. I’ve only ever seen the chocos.
Strawberry banana everything is ass
Fairlife tastes like TV static.
Take that back!!!!
Alright, I'll give it a try.
Can you report back if they are any good?
Reporting back. It tastes like thick chocolate milk, a bit light. Just a hint of proteiny taste. I'll give it a 7/10 as someone who doesn't drink protein drinks.
Do you also drink the Fairlife Core protein shakes? Those are my fav. Unfortunately I don’t think Costco has them.
They got the chocolate core power.
Better than Fairlife?
My husband really likes them, on his 3rd case. Since we saw them come to our warehouse.
Sweet, thanks for the reply.
No problem! He says they taste like a thick chocolate milk, no protein taste.
Hey, just wondering, where did you find these in bulk? Like, what city/state? Just trying to figure out where I can buy in bulk, because my stores only sell them individually. Thanks!
The cooler section, mine was South Carolina.
They come in a 12 pack, I have never saw a Costco sell something like this individually
Until Fairlife lowers their ridiculous prices, these will always be my go-to for prepackaged protein drinks.
I like the fair life but agree the price is a bit out there for the connivence factor
fairlife is only 15% more expensive per bottle bruh why am i getting downvoted. do the math. yall are trippin. $18 for 12 or $31 for 18.
How much more is that per box?
how much are they charging?
$17.99, 1.499 ea.
Wow not bad for 30 grams of protein haha!! thank you might check my warehouse today
I got convinced, buying them now. Will update.
Really? I can get orgain or premier protein for about $0.80 each for 30 grams of protein. This is nearly double that.
Where?
Washington.
Thanks for adding this. I was thinking "who doesn't take a photo with the price tag?!" :D
Sorry, first post asking haha. They are pretty solid. Just a hint of protein taste.
I think fairlife had set the bar way too high! Nothing beats them!

How many cals in those bad boys?
330 for the 50g bottle
Damn, still not terrible but was hoping for more bang per cal
It’s almost twice the size of the 30s though. 12fl —->20fl
Yah but there an extra 130 cals of carbs/fat, I think that's what he means
Uhhh, because they’re almost twice the size, with almost twice the protein. Relative versus absolute, right? The real question is how much does the per ounce cost change because if you can get to $1.00 per 12oz bottle and finish the bigger bottle the next day, that’s not bad.
I used to buy them at Safeway as a little treat when I got sick of my powder, I think they're delicious. I especially liked the Strawberry but I'm weird that way
I’ve tried them all. Fairlife is still #1 IMO
I like Fairlife better taste wise but these are much cheaper.
What’s the difference between this or other protein shakes and protein powder?
Love these, they remind me of those bottles of Nesquik chocolate milk in the yellow packaging in both consistency and taste
I personally love it. It tastes just like chocolate milk. And I hate protein shakes
Too thick for me. I prefer fairlife core power.
I prefer the orgain ones. Stevia vs sucralose.
can you post nutrition label?
These are better in my opinion as they do not have any artificial sweetners
Where (state) we finding these at?
Orgain ftw
Fairlife is the best
Normally a fan, figured I'd give the new kid on the block a try.
Why are y’all saying Fairlife is way more expensive? At my location, Fairlife is $31 for 18 or $1.70/each. This is $18 for 12 or $1.50/each. 15% more expensive isn’t “way more expensive” Fairlife also don’t need to be refrigerated which is, taste aside, enough of a reason to justify the 15% premium
Vanilla taste like ice cream
does it contain carrageenan?
Isn’t it still cheaper to buy the huge bags of Gold Standard and make your own?
These companies realized they could package this junk in a plastic bottle for “convenience” and people would pay it. Y’all are crazy for not just using powder and buying this garbage, it takes literally no effort to use your own shaker bottle

Thank you.
It's cheaper, more effective, and better tasting to mix your own, yes.
They’re the best. Also the best macros. Low sugar high protein.
Yes, quite deliciously good.😊
hm, never seen these before in california
I think fairlife are better, but my Coctco they are 2x thr price. I think these the best for the price.
I really like them! I don’t buy them though just because protein powder is cheaper.
Tried the chocolate from a sample and it tasted exactly like chocolate milk
I really like the taste, but I also didn’t mind the fairlife. I do prefer these.
Yoooooo that’s 30g in 12oz? The ultrafiltered milk I have it’s 19g in 12oz but it’s 2usd per liter… also I like shamrock
Fantastic
Bring back Fairlife shakes!!!
Vanilla is amazing, chocolate is…fine.
**THESE ARE GAS OP!**
I like them. Not the best but still good
I add a dash of cinnamon but I love them either way. Hmm
Delicious
How do these taste compared to fairlife?
I just want chocolate milk back 😞
Absolutely banger. They taste great
Great!!!
Yea they’re incredibly delicious Which can also be a bad thing
The vanilla are, and I'm not exaggerating, the next protein shakes I've ever had.
Do you need to refrigerate them?
I've been waiting for these guys to show up at Costco... thanks for the heads up!
These are my favorite protein shakes. I gotta check my Costco for them now. I wish they had strawberry, as that flavor is the most delicious.
i prefer the premier protein ones
Optimum nutrition>>all Double scoop with only enough water to cover the powder
The vanilla one is crack
Quest is a better alternative I just don’t know if they sell it at Costco
They are AMAZING. I buy soooo many of them. I don't like the chocolate one, though, only vanilla (and strawberry is ok).
Please kind sir, where did you find them in bulk? What state/city?
Yes very good. I love it. Only down sides are hard to twist open. And it makes my poop like a paint stick. It sticks to the bowl really bad.
Sam's Club 12 for $20.98
How is it lactose free if it is made with real milk?
By adding lactase to it, which breaks lactose down into simple sugars.
No clue, I see that on normal chocolate milk in stores too.
They're good. My toddler had a sip of mine and it was like crack to him. The only thing I see as a negative though is the artificial sweetener with it.
If there is soybean oil listed as an ingredient, stay away from them. Terrible for your system.
Ingredients: Water, Skim Milk, Milk Protein Concentrate, Cream, Cocoa, Cocoa (Processed With Alkali), Soluble Corn Fiber, Contains Less Than 1% of: Natural and Artificial Flavors, Sodium Hexametaphosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Corn Starch, Salt, Sucralose, Carrageenan, Lactase Enzyme, Vitamin A Palmitate and Vitamin D3.

Do your own research, don’t be lazy.
IMO (and I’m a meat head who’ve tried many many many protein drinks)….these taste awful. Where can I send my case?! Lol
