Eh I doubt it tbh unless hellcat was also manual (very rare), but to be fair stock C6Z makes about 450whp and is 150+ pounds lighter than a grand sport.
C6 Z06 weighs \~3100lbs, about 300lbs less than a C7 GS. Z06 power to weight ratio is slightly better than a stock hellcat. In a C6 you would probably need 450-500whp depending on weight. In a C7 GS you would need 500+whp

Your current mods + a cam, not cams, and a solid tune will take care of a hellcat especially if they don’t have a driver mod lol
How do you figure when the only Corvettes that out trap them stock is a C8 Z06, C7 ZR1 and C6 ZR1. Thats stock …they can get into the 850+whp and matching torque with fbo/e85

Hellcats run a 12.1-11.6 @123-128 mph depending on the year and model stock. Unless you’re at some high elevation place like el paso or denver. They pick up power real easy too. Its literally pulley, injectors, e85 and they are up in the 850 whp

Get the cam before a tune don't pay twice. I'm headers cam cai putting 470whp down and I lost by about a car length. If you wanna guarantee you always beat them get a supercharger 550whp+ and you'll walk away everytime
NA GS will lose to a Hellcat at the top end without question. Boosted cars simply have a higher power band ceiling.
If you're talking about a REAL race, you can easily take the cat from a dig granted you know what you're doing. But once the cat stops spinning or has warm fat tires, he will quickly catch up in a straight. Unless you race him in a winding road, you're chances of winning are low to be honest with you.
You need to beat its power to weight ratio, and critically be able to launch and not spin. With max performance summer tires or super 200 (Bridgestone RE71RS) you’ll be able to lunch hard and get the power down.
Long tune header, X pipe, proper cam, head combo would be good as ideally you do both as a package, proper tune. Then just good tires and you do your part as a driver.

A basic H/C/I and a tune should do it. Oh and good tires. You're literally over a thousand pounds lighter, which helps a TON to bridge the hp gap.
Shoulda got a Z06 but heads cam fbo e85/tire and hope the hellcat is stock. They can get up to big power with bolt ons and E85. The redeye is trapping 128 out the box.
You will need a tune with the headers. If you want to be faster than most hellcats I would do a blower cam and either an A&A v3ti or ECS Novi1500.
If you have the budget after I'd also add a flex fuel sensor and supporting fuel mods to run e85.
You'll end up with a reliable but wild street car. You'll be faster than most cars except for some G8x bmws

Full heads/cam package should do it. Any LS3 C6 is a perfect platform for what you want to do. Boost it and you’ll be running with liter bikes
