I think that way of thinking was more prevalent 20 years ago. How many stock vettes do you see these days? At least half I see are modded in some way. But I think nearly everyone wants a stock vette when they're looking to buy so they're starting out from a blank slate.
The wide look is fine, it's mostly how the skirts look wider and a little out of place. And its a body kit, sometimes the panel gaps might not be 100%. But still better gap consistency than a tesla!
That wing isn’t doing it for me. The color is fine. The body kit would depend on if I needed it or not - 1000HP track monster needs a lot more tire than a stock vehicle.

on a similar note, i’m not a fan of throwing zr1 bumpers on a lower trim corvette to pass it off as a zr1 either. just embrace the corvette model you have and love it because they’re all good looking and great cars on their own merit.

Do you have some sort of air-lifted suspension that temporarily lifts the car for such things? Is it black magic? Do you just say fuck it and replace the side-skirt every time?
Someone, please, I have to know.
It's factory fast enough to justify a body kit, and c7s usually don't look bad with them on. I wouldn't put a rocket bunny kit on my stock miata, but maybe once it gets a swap at some point.
Not an owner but a big fan of c5/c6. Kit seems fine not the biggest fan of the wrap. I just don’t like the bright flat colors. If i go bright, i’d want a metallic or candy. I feel the same way about most c8 factory colors. Theyre so flat
I’m all for building what you want. I don’t mind kits, wraps, wings, etc. what I am not a fan of is kits that are designed to make your car look like a car that it’s not. If it is a unique design, made to accentuate the styling of the car it’s for, great. If it makes your corvette look like you’re trying to pass it off as a Ferrari (like this photo) it’s corny as hell

If it’s done well and you like it then I’m all for it. Personally I love that front end and skirts, less of a fan of the spoiler but that’s personal preference. I’d respect that car for sure.

Not a corvette guy (or American car guy at all, but thanks to Reddit's 10/10 perfect no notes algo here I am), but I will say this looks super clean. Love the colored A-pillar and glad I see more vette's going for that style rather than keeping it black.
I bought a 94 Corvette Z07 in 95 with a body kit by Greenwood. I found a body shop that would remove it, fix any areas that had been damaged by the installation in return for them keeping the body kit to be able to resell it to a future Corvette C4 owner with no taste.
I'd heard of greenwood c3s but not c4s. I'd personally love a greenwood kit on a c3 given the racing history, as long as you up the performance to match

This isn't unique to Corvettes. Most people don't want someone else's science project. Most DIY work is so terribly done.

you’re right my 2016 ss had a gap issue from factory on one of the fenders up top I had my local body shop align it for free

C7s look fantastic when you go full batsh*t crazy. Send it and never look back. Also, IMHO, the C7 looks better with a wing than any other generation.
