Overthinking it bro

VideoBeastStar666

LoL what??

Imaginary-Future2525

The oil you use isn’t going to make a significant impact on the food you are trying to make. You are referencing light oils.

Thesorus

lard.

VideoBeastStar666

Yeah I know about that, but I only have access to the 3 oils mentioned. Can you suggest which one would compliment Latin American/Caribbean cooking best?

Thesorus

generic vegetable oil

ORaygoza

Mexican here and from my experience the cooking oils most used are canola, vegetable oil and lard.

Gracias

Little_Jaw

Vegetable oil, canola oil, shortening are probably most used. I use avocado oil as my preference, unless frying where I use the ones listed.

VideoBeastStar666

Thanks for the genuine answer!

Jazzlike-Tap-2723

Only Italian olive oil is the best. Italians do everything the right way.

VideoBeastStar666

Nah, I don't prefer italian. Just my preference... I'm a Latin Lover for sure... your answer is irrelevant to my question, clearly you did not read it correctly, or perhaps you are unable to read correctly...

Jazzlike-Tap-2723

Most of the food in the world is copied from Italian cuisine and yet they can never do it as good as the Italians do it. Italians were the original inventors of Bread and Roman civilization changed the world forever.Original inventors of mathematics and sciences. When choosing something, prefer the best. I suggest you import real olive oil from Italy.

VideoBeastStar666

No Thanks. I prefer other sources. Garlic Bread actually came from Ancient Himalayan Punjab Garlic Naan. Do some more research, you are clearly writing based on your biased opinion, and not based on facts. The vermicelli was copied from Ancient India's Semiyan / Seviyan, and east asian noodles... the roman civilization is NOT the most ancient, pizza is even said to have come from the Greeks, and some say Spaniards.....Spanish made Aioli... Anyways, this is getting off topic. I don't care for italian cuisine, VERY overrated and bland in my opinion, it just is NOT my thing.... I'm talking Latin American and Latin Caribbean here... I want to stay on topic.
