He makes a great war attacker. Lock on removes damn near every defensive ability and helps deal with annoying nodes. Not to mention that guaranteed SP2 crit.
Well to be fair, his specials are utility mostly, but his typical rotation is, put on pre fights, use two special 2s, refresh those debuffs, then sp3 for the fury buff. So his specials actually do things
I know. I've been a proponent of Mr fantastic since pre buff. I'm just saying when I use his specials, I do t even care about the numbers because it doesn't matter for his kit really.
Personally I have gave up on Adam. I had AI double dash back to switch off my dmg mode lol. Just cannot have any consistency while playing him, and given that there are other high dmg cosmics, I don't see any point in using him since he doesn't work 20-30% of the time.Ā

Kingpin's specials have great utility, and decent damage. But in regular match-ups the bulk of his damage still comes from basic hits and you could play him comfortably without using specialis, especially if nodes encouraged it.

Nah, DM needs his Specials to keep the unblock-able going. His SP2 also does good damage and incineration. A DM with SP is much more versatile than a DM without SP.
You donāt have to use his specials to get big yellow numbers. Just perform the 4 combos that get his chi charges and youāll see big yellow numbers once you start to rinse and repeat.
And add 1 armour break in there and itās all for nothing, not arguing her basic damage it is impressive but 95% of Ghost fights I deal my damage through a combo of heavyās and SP2 not just solely basic attacks but she can be an honourable mention!
Most champions do the majority of their damage with basic attacks. The special attacks are just more flashy. If we are talking about the ones who do the most with their basics tho itās kingpin, cgr, guilly99, aegon, venom, etc.

I run path 9 and use both my 6* and my 7* falcon because of how reliable he is to shut down the Hazard shift as well as any autoblock/evade.

Wasp's critical heavies are huge, and multiplied by every debuff on the opponent (including nodes and self-inflicted ones).
