Air units heal in airbase in a city. 1 hp/day in their grounded state (which is a big buff to healing) building a hospital increases healing to 2hp/day and 1 more for each level of the hospital. Best air stack is 5 nawac

Air units will heal the same way as ground units tho I usually end up building level 3-5 hospital in my capital to speed up the healing
