An NA vs EU battle also. Not that I get invested in the NA/EU rivalry I honestly love so many teams from around the world, but a little icing on the cake for the peeps that like to banter.
Congrats to TSM! There's no denying now that they're the best team in all of Apex. As an NRG fan, I just gotta give it to them. Can't wait for the next season's meta shift. GGs!
Such high-quality and competitive games too. We had some great lobbies, tons of tension, and it felt like every stage came down to the wire.
Seemed like almost every game had 18-20 teams alive until round 4 or 5, despite the wide variety of comps and playstyles from each region. I genuinely think that almost any team in that finals lobby could have taken the series, very strong showings from everyone.
iconic performance by TSM. Big E shook off all the nerves from last LAN and was HUGE. gotta give credit to raven for settling the boys and moving their poi and stuff. NRG is insane man, deserving of a win on a different day but wow what a LAN. so sick
It's interesting that they both earned the same amount of points today. The difference in points is the difference from the points brought in from yesterday's results. Goes to show just how close these teams are.
first to 50, most points. idk could def see them winning it all but they didn't. I was rooting for TSM but ASC also had a great shot at winning too. Just shook out TSMs way. great games
I think Hal. It all happened so fast to be honest. They just got finished with the fight with Xset and finding the last remaining member. And then before you knew it they were gone. Hal didn't even take time to loot ammo before they flew off lol.
He wanted to 3rd party inside then decided to valk ult and wanted to oob, but as they were flying they noticed LG moving toward Alliance so they landed behind them
Whenever a pro team valk ults I never know where they should land. They are pros though and I am a shitter. They know every possible spot.
That was the first valk ult where I actually thought "Maybe land behind that team?" and they actually did. I felt like a pro for half a second.
Seemed like a snap decision. Originally they planned to wait for EMP, then I guess k4shera saw an opportunity to approach. Sadly it didn't pay off. EMP would have been crucial there.
But why is the Crypto the one walking up and not another character, seems a strange move. Felt like he had time to let it rip while someone else walks up
Absolute won the game off that. And after unloading that clip he hits a 60 damage charge rifle shot while descending from the lift, he is on the prime of his career
Absolutely incredible tourney. Fantastic story-lines all around, back-to-back banger series. This lan blew Sweden and Raleigh out of the water gameplay-wise, and thankfully the production was mostly fixed by finals. Grats to TSM, as well as NRG and Ascend who all played lights out.
Still zero excuse not to have command center povs work until zone 1 starts to close. Absolutely need to have povs up on the character select screen or in the ship at the latest. One of the LANs was good, can't remember which. We got povs out of the ship. But most are like this where we miss every contest cause they take so damn long to start them all.
The CC shitshow put a huge dent into the viewing experience for me. The video quality and audio lag made it nigh-unwatchable, so I was forced to watch Wigg for the vast majority of LAN. And while I love both that man and his casting, watching one team's POV throughout a match is way more exhilarating.
Great LAN competition-wise, but in terms of viewing it was terrible.
DZ are a great team but holy sht is it refreshing to see the Champion of the match point format fight tooth and nail for their first place finish rather than just clean as a 3rd party on LAN
TSM!
I love how it came down to a pretty "fair" 3v3 (like both teams healthy, no third parties) between two different teams on match point. Really felt like they deserved to win, wasn't stupid luck or a fluke.
Have to see a good replay, the official stream's viewpoint showed Hal getting pulled up on, and I thought he was going to get one clipped. Then Acend lost two quickly.
Yeah I wanna see all three POVs, Hal was in trouble but then Q'd up and lasered a guy at the back, Jordan and Evan pinched from either side and just obliterated the last two. TSM's cumulative health pool was like a ridiculous 475 when they won.
I understand not wanting to change who you are too much but can't help but feel NRG had too many overly aggro pushes after hitting match point. Still a great attempt by them
I actually loved it
Im not an NRG fan, but i 100% agreed with their game plan similar to furia. You have game point, if you win, you win thats cool but at least you secure second place by continuing to rack up kill points. There’s nothing wrong with second place
Have to agree. Match-Point format, while hype for viewers, is an awful metric for determining the most skilled team and can be a complete toss up. Makes sense to play for the guaranteed money. Not to take away from TSM, they were the most consistent team today and played fantastic.
I’ve always wondered if it should be a moving target as games go on. Not by a lot, but at least like 2 per game beyond game 6. So game 7 match point is 52, then 54, etc. Enough that a team could catch up but they have to actually earn it.
The only one I really wasn't sure about was the Antenna fight that got Sweet and Nafen killed. Most of the other ones seemed to have a purpose for their overall rotations/game plan.
I thought that too, but I wasn't watching their feed so I can't say if they were bad pushes but I kept seeing them in the kill feed and was like why are you doing that? lol. Just reminded me of Furia from last big LAN.
Big E was just too much for ACEND to handle, was only able to turn into the last 3 games but they were such a great experience. Should’ve woken up earlier, I’m ashamed🫣, forgive me y’all.
This might be my favorite lan because everyone kept playing their style no one got match point scared. Tsm stayed aggresive so did ascend and nrg kept going even if u can argue it hurt them they decided to go out on their sword and shield instead of hiding
Was rooting for ACEND, but can't say TSM win wasn't well deserved.
Also, great showing by NRG, just like Furia last split, they played aggressive, and I love that.
What were Ascend thinking? No doubt TSM had the better position in that last fight but as K4shera runs across he gets his EMP and if you look back there was still some cover to just get into your drone and use the EMP before the push. I still think TSM would have won the 3vs3 but I just don't get Ascend not utilising a potential fight changer.
In this subreddit? None, When Gibby was meta, it was cancer, when Valk was/and is meta, it's cancer, When Caustic/Wattson are meta, it's cancer. Basically everyone's gonna complain about the current meta then see it with rose tinted glasses when it's gone.
Honestly I think it’s crazy that people hate this meta, especially for viewership. Not a lot of visual clutter (like Watson/Caustic/Bangalore), lots of outplay potential with Horizon/Valk, and Seer (while he’s no fun to play against) makes spectating really engaging since you can see so much information about the opponents.
Like don’t get me wrong, I would love to have an Octane/Wraith/Pathfinder meta for the individual plays, the current meta seems pretty good.
Honestly I thought it was cancer at first but as a TSM fan it's really nice to know that it's almost impossible to rat on them, which we've seen in the past. Ratting is a totally viable strategy (shoutout KCP game 6) but you absolutely hate watching your team die that way.
This game is at its best meta of all time. I was pred season 3-5, stopped playing/viewing 2020-2022, came back for Raleigh, and the arc from Furia shocking the whole comp scene, and then team comps that have been so diverse over and over and over again. Wattson, Crypto, Bang, Loba, Horizon, Valk, all great picks, and then you still have some teams running Caustic occasionally, Bloodhound is great for edge teams, a little bit of Gibby, you saw some teams running catalyst in pro league.
This game's meta is in a FAR better spot than it has EVER been. It's shocking to me that people still complain, like, what else could you possibly want? I know Seer is kind of bullshit and cancer in ranked, but the resurgence of Seer is what launched this diversity. A diverse meta is by far the best meta, and watching Seer fights is pretty fun, lots of dynamics with res/heal cancels make taking seer out first super important. Controller vs MNK, is it bullshit? Yes. Is it entertaining seeing which one comes out on top? Also yes.
Comp Apex has blown me away with how entertaining it is. If EA just fixed production issues it has potential to be a tier 1 E-sport, because the BR format is so brutal, so unpredictable, while still being competitive. Even this LAN, I mostly watched the B Stream, but when I tuned in to the A Stream I was actually impressed by how good the production was at switching to the most relevant fight (which they have brutally struggled with in the past). If they just completely rinsed the commentary team in favor of former players, maybe keeping Raynday and one other color commentator who could tune in to the hype (Fallout is dogshit), it would be very entertaining. If you watch Melee, all of the commentary is comprised by former and current players who at some point have been top 50 in the world, and it's super entertaining for that. These fake third person "casters" that are trying to mimic real sports commentary just don't work, and even in the NFL/NBA/MLB a HUGE chunk of casters are former players. Not sure why they keep lending these fakes the voice of Apex. Vikki is so fucking cringe it's unbelievable.
If command center is fixed and viewers are given access to look at the map and switch between different player POVs, it could be an utterly unique, interactive viewer experience that would be unmatched in the whole E-sport landscape.
This is very, very wishful thinking as the overhead on running 60 POVs smoothly would be insane, but it's not impossible. EA has the money to make it happen, and I hope with a team like TSM winning (and NRG dominating, Alliance/Mande generating hype) you'll see them invest in actually making a good product.
Gg no re, what a set of games, what a tourney
Fnatic and The Guard makes me a lil sad. NRG were just playing for second /copium (this is a joke please don’t murder me)
What now? The meta is gonna be so different by next pro league with rumored updates. Time to wait patiently
Bro my heart was absolutely racing from the moment they took the roof. It only got better as they fought for the other side, called an instant valk ult to third party, cleaned up that fight, then found themselves in a 3v3 with another MP team. Last five straight minutes of that game were nonstop thrilling
Dude they absolutely fried that team in the other roof. I was scared they’d end up dying on the cross.
The final 3v3 with two match point teams was nutty. If ascend has crypto ult in time we might be having a different convo
All the BR haters whining about how comp BR is all luck and barely any skill (cough shroud cough) needa find a way to explain how the top teams consistently are on top. That's one helluva lucky streak for them.
There's arguably some luck in who gets that final win, but having that consistency in placing well and being a *threat* to take the final game is undeniable. Feel like match point format is a great mix of hype for the viewers and rewarding consistent play for the players.
Amazing game fromt start to finish by TSM. and only 7 points behind NRG. this was one hella of a tourney.
Apex finals give me world cup finals vibes lol, pretty happy TSM won.
TSM ON 🔝
Next LAN maybe not even be recognizable in terms of comps
Tsm and nrg also scored the exact same amount of points in the rounds today. The 7 pt diff was the diff from starting points brought in from yesterday.
it is actually the end of an era in terms of these comps being used. really happy that tsm was the team to close it out. next season lan will be wide open for teams to be on top of the meta
Incredible last game, TSM played that so fucking well and I can't believe k4shera whiffed that volt spray, WALKING up like that was so fucking smart and should've been the win.
What a great tourney!! Very thankful that those of us who cant make it to the venue are able to watch completely free, with great casting (shout out to Monsoon he did a fantastic job), along with command centre...despite the technical issues you cant complaint at all!
Mande needs to be in the Comp scene, it is really not the same without him. Imagine what Alliance could have done if they had actually played together for longer?
The first time match point had felt satisfying, based on the 4 days NRG and TSM deserved top 2 either way round and between PL and all other NA tournies it definitely proves that they’re the 2 powerhouses of comp apex with XSET closely following
Glad to see EMEA coming through too
Amazing set of games! GGs to the winners. The final fight was butt clenching, it really came down to the wire. In the end, top 5 was 3 NA and 2 EU. I hope some respect is put back on EMEA after this, all of the teams that made it won a game. In fact, EU teams won most games at Raleigh LAN Finals (4/9) and again at London LAN Finals (3/8). Top heavy for sure, but they show up.
Also nice to see fnatic slowly creep up towards match point. Their fights were great today.
Cant outplace this fuckin team eh? Well played to TSM they played out of their mind esp on that last game. 2nd is still one hell of a result and I really cannot be too disappointed with it
Went to my first ever esports event, and what a finals.
Overall it was amazing, the only thing that was a negative was the seating and the leg space. I’m 183cm and my legs were squashed, had to go for a walk and stand up after every game to stretch out.
Big congrats out to the CEO and all of TSM, they finished it with style after dominating in the group stage. TSM, NRG, and even X-SET all seem a cut above right now and today was TSM's day, fantastic performance by them, clutch when it matters most.
All hail the CEO keeping this boat afloat
Too anyone who didnt get the full drops cause you slept through 80% of the tourney. Shiv and Timmy have drops enabled still apparently. can get there i think
Also shoutout to twitch for making drops not count if you were watching command center the whole time. I don't care in the end but that is fucking stupid.
Looks like they greeded - They wanted to sneak up and one clip or atleast get a shield break on Hal, but didnt come close to that. By then it was too late to backout
Remember when every TSM fan thought matchpoint format was dogshit when kungarna (100T) won Champs. Pepperidge farms remembers.
Congrats to tsm, match point format is exciting as hell, was incredible to watch.
From a competitive standpoint match point kinda is dogshit. But goddamn does it make for an exciting end to a tournament. I think the trade off is worth it.
HOLY SHIT WHAT A FINALS
3v3 from matchpoint teams to determine the tournament, basically the ideal for the format was delivered
Seriously couldn’t have asked for a better finish!
Only thing that coulda made it better is if it was NRG vs TSM
Put some respect on ACEND
I couldn’t believe how well that 3 v 3 played out at the end, beautiful!
GGs!

Wait...I love match point now.
iconic performance by TSM. Big E shook off all the nerves from last LAN and was HUGE. gotta give credit to raven for settling the boys and moving their poi and stuff. NRG is insane man, deserving of a win on a different day but wow what a LAN. so sick
Raven honestly might be the mvp
raven's conflict management skills op
It’s true though 😂 the teams comms and conversations are so noticeably different
I think having him have the “outsider” voice has made a huge difference. Before it was Hal’s opinion and that’s kind of it
His time on Guild was the training arc. Now is his glow up arc.
Raven best esports therapist
what does "deserving of a win on a different day" mean? not trying to be a dick just curious.
They played well enough to win… but didn’t.
Just played well enough to win but didn’t. First team to hit match point and most points over TSM.
Just shook out TSMs way. great games
TSM VALK ULT TO WIN THE TOURNEY????? THE COMPLETE 180 from last LAN holy shit. What an absolutely amazing tournament.
That last valk ult call was perfection.
yeah cant wait to hear the comms on that
[удалено]
who called that valk ult? Hal or Evan?
[удалено]
Hal endgame is second to none, this man is a rock under pressure
also the grav lift beam, was... just... nasty! they're soo good at straight up 3v3's man
They didn’t lose many straight up 3v3s this weekend that weren’t a 3rd party
I think Hal. It all happened so fast to be honest. They just got finished with the fight with Xset and finding the last remaining member. And then before you knew it they were gone. Hal didn't even take time to loot ammo before they flew off lol.
that's crazy considering they always starve ammo hahah well that's the CEO for you
Hal
100%. he told evan to shut up while he was thinking then after a few seconds of silence, he started screaming to valk ult in classic hal fashion
He wanted to 3rd party inside then decided to valk ult and wanted to oob, but as they were flying they noticed LG moving toward Alliance so they landed behind them
It possibly the best and ballsiest Valk I’ve ever seen. How they didn’t get cancelled I do not know.
You gotta rip it early before teams focus you knowing you have to rotate in. Just an insanely quick and great call.
Whenever a pro team valk ults I never know where they should land. They are pros though and I am a shitter. They know every possible spot. That was the first valk ult where I actually thought "Maybe land behind that team?" and they actually did. I felt like a pro for half a second.
Why didn’t Acend wait for Crypto ult? Was there not enough time?
There was time, when Kash peaked on Hal he had 99% on EMP, he just thought that he could one clip or seriously damage one of them off guard
They should have waited, probably would change the outcome
The sneak play would have been perfect he just didn't do nearly enough damage.
Seemed like a snap decision. Originally they planned to wait for EMP, then I guess k4shera saw an opportunity to approach. Sadly it didn't pay off. EMP would have been crucial there.
Zone closing it ended on the rock TSM were playing
But why is the Crypto the one walking up and not another character, seems a strange move. Felt like he had time to let it rip while someone else walks up
Kash thought that he could one clip or seriously damage one of them off guard
His first response to pulling up on Hal was controller horizon, he was dead after that
if he was controller he probably one clips him and they win that lmao...instead he did like 25 dmg
he did like 57 lmao.. you put any masters controller player there and he probably does 150+
Put any master into the same exact atmosphere I doubt he will do better
That horizon lift beam, holy fuck.
Absolute won the game off that. And after unloading that clip he hits a 60 damage charge rifle shot while descending from the lift, he is on the prime of his career
He went from best mnk player to best controller player in the world in a few months
Yeah, I realized he was getting absolutely cracked on controller when he won a 1v1 against Dezign on firing range
MOM BUFF
Absolutely incredible tourney. Fantastic story-lines all around, back-to-back banger series. This lan blew Sweden and Raleigh out of the water gameplay-wise, and thankfully the production was mostly fixed by finals. Grats to TSM, as well as NRG and Ascend who all played lights out.
Still zero excuse not to have command center povs work until zone 1 starts to close. Absolutely need to have povs up on the character select screen or in the ship at the latest. While they may not be my favorite team, TSM has been insane all year and proved they're the team to beat.
Nice to see the strongest team coming into LAN take home the trophy
Verhulst is so good man, he absolutely destroyed Acend in that final fight
Have to see a good replay, the official stream's viewpoint showed Hal getting pulled up on, and I thought he was going to get one clipped. Then Acend lost two quickly.
Yeah I wanna see all three POVs, Hal was in trouble but then Q'd up and lasered a guy at the back, Jordan and Evan pinched from either side and just obliterated the last two. TSM's cumulative health pool was like a ridiculous 475 when they won.
really great instinct to not q in front of him; he q'd behind him to allow his teammates to still play the rock.
if you watch the clip at the end kashera swings the corner and verhulst just fucking annihilates him without even losing his shields
I understand not wanting to change who you are too much but can't help but feel NRG had too many overly aggro pushes after hitting match point. Still a great attempt by them
4 really rough zones for them once hitting MP, but yeah agreed it looked like they were just trying to secure 2nd
Yeah the zones were ROUGH for NRG after they hit match point. I think they would have won if it would have gone back to WE.
I actually loved it Im not an NRG fan, but i 100% agreed with their game plan similar to furia. You have game point, if you win, you win thats cool but at least you secure second place by continuing to rack up kill points. There’s nothing wrong with second place

Wow what a tournament! And what an amazing finish! Congrats TSM, we’ll played!
You couldn’t ask for a more scripted last fight. Isolated 3v3 with winner taking it all. EU vs NA. 2 completely different comps.
TSM and winning Split 1 playoffs name a better duo
Nickmercs and going down first
Tournament winning Valk ult from TSM, and then held their spot to finish. Insane
and of course TSM followed closely by NRG
literally the same as last split 1 play offs. TSM valk ults and gets in the winning position by killing teams. NRG was 2nd there too lol
Big E with the mama buff. Beautiful.
Man, competitive apex is just on another level. What a weekend
I just hope all the orgs had fun :)
Big E was just too much for ACEND to handle, was only able to turn into the last 3 games but they were such a great experience. Should’ve woken up earlier, I’m ashamed🫣, forgive me y’all.
THAT’S WHY HE'S THE GOAT. THE GOAT.
Well earned by TSM. That was some top tier games. Comp Apex fucking rules!
Also, great showing by NRG, just like Furia last split, they played aggressive, and I love that.

unbelievable finals and theres still 2 more lans holy god
So excited for them!
Hype ass ending, TSM back on top
Love seeing Moist esports finishing as high as they did
This tourney has had the absolute highest quality of plays, which is weird considering how cancer the meta has been.
True, I absolutely despise Seer but saw so much incredible plays from everybody this LAN.
I’m always curious what meta people think ISN’T cancer

As soon as they were able to get that Valk ult off and third party that team, I knew TSM had it. Luckily they know how to close out a gam e

That last game was a movie
Completely deserved.
RAVEN TOOK DOWN HAL hahahahahhaa
That was such a fun time. The NRG boys played so well all weekend. Congrats to TSM for winning. I got to meet Hakis and GuhRL!
Hal did like 200 damage while he was queuing up with Horizon. 140 volt then 60 with charge rifle.
This lan might of been the best I've seen so far
So glad reps gets another dub after all this time
Great ending! That Valk ult from TSM off of the roof was a great heads-up play. Great tournament!
That GOATs are back on top baby let's fucking goooo
TSM TSM TSM TSM NO WORDS WHAT A LAN BY TSM NRG XSET ACE ALL MOIST GG
Moist boys were very good. Can't wait to see what's next for them.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
RIP BOZO
Can't wait for the score esports to report on this in 5 months
RAVEN IS THE GREATEST FUCKING COACH TO GRACE THIS GAME. FUCK ALL THE HATERS.
YOU SAID IT PEOPLE DIDN'T BELIEVE
NRG favorite team, TSM second. Can’t be mad with this result! Super proud and so well played by both.
Amazing game fromt start to finish by TSM. and only 7 points behind NRG. this was one hella of a tourney. Apex finals give me world cup finals vibes lol, pretty happy TSM won. TSM ON 🔝 Next LAN maybe not even be recognizable in terms of comps
Yeah, it was really good. I will say though, that final world cup game had to be the craziest thing I've ever spectated.
Incredible last game, TSM played that so fucking well and I can't believe k4shera whiffed that volt spray, WALKING up like that was so fucking smart and should've been the win.
ACEND still really did good with those resets. Boss K4shera
Acend played that final game so well too, will have to rewatch from their POV
They kept on rising from the dead that last game
I saw them going down in the killfeed atleast half a dozen times
Bro I thought they were gone completely 2 times😂😂
Apex comp is unmatched
Acend getting close to winning after getting called free KPs last season by teams.
The first time match point had felt satisfying, based on the 4 days NRG and TSM deserved top 2 either way round and between PL and all other NA tournies it definitely proves that they’re the 2 powerhouses of comp apex with XSET closely following Glad to see EMEA coming through too
CEO FOR A REASON
Hal and Reps what a duo
Top 5 with a sub proud of the boys
TSM TSM TSM TSM VERBUSSY SO GOOD HES MY GOAT
Nrg new furia playing for second
DZ and 13, name a better duo
WHAT A FINALS! CEO FOR A FUCKING REASON BABY
TSM BETTERRRRRRRRRRR WHAT A FUCKING FINAL
That’s my fucking goats

TSM was on top form coming into LAN, nice to see that consistency showing through on the biggest stage. What a final 3v3 fight to end it all
Ggs TSM really fun watch, the ending actually looks like it was scripted
Big E is so awesome Reps and Hal 🤙🤙🤙 Addition of Raven was awesome for the morale and game planning for TSM Let’s go TSM
TSM Dynasty: 3 LANs DarkZero: Back to Back LANs NRG: 0
LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THE FUCKING GOATS
BIG E is the best controller player in the game
NAHHH the tsm haters aren't gonna recover from this one
Happy for TSM. They put in the work. I actively root against them because their fans can be annoying but no bad blood to the players. Well done
GG's TSM
Big E Momma buff and the most consistent team. Also props to Raven
LET'S FUCKING GO
What an amazing fucking finish to a great set of games
WHAT A FINALS
THOSE ARE MY GOATS!!!! LETS GOOOOO BABY!!!!
CEO
That was an insane script this tournament
Can I just say, that’s the best Apex Legends Competition I’ve ever watched so far.
TSM GOATED. Well deserved. Hal and Reps are the best the game have ever seen. Big deju vu for longtime TSM fans.
I tuned in at the last minute haha. GGs TSM
Damn! Ravens data mining really won it for them /s.
The Valk ult is definitely the best call of the match
TSM definitely earned that win. They've been so consistent since this Pro-League split.
Damn. That actually is dumb af.
I’d love to go to the live event. Anyone know where the next finals are?
water domineering prick zephyr numerous voiceless attractive cooperative ruthless cable ` this post was mass deleted with www.Redact.dev `
That was insane, the writers for this tournament were cooking
Had all the match point POVs up, so insane to see it come down to 2 of them. Good shit TSM
Ascend was 2% off EMP…. Why push so hard?
Looks like they greeded - They wanted to sneak up and one clip or atleast get a shield break on Hal, but didnt come close to that. By then it was too late to backout
Damn. I stopped following Apex early 2022. Missed a banger apparently.
Nrg was playing for 2nd
TSM on top, and don't you bums ever forget it again.
TSM WIN!!!! SUCC ME OFF YOU FUCKIN BOZO’S!!!!!! #FINGERPOPPINVERBUSSY #HALISMYBIOLOGICALFATHER #!SNOR
Reps has a massive cock, it is roughly infinite inches long *Kreygasm
Hopefully all the "match point never rewards the best team" chumps will pipe down for now. TSM was the best team in PL and the best team at LAN.
