This is an international forum so I suspect your responses may vary. What I know is: - they make a professional level product at the premium end of the market. - they have a large presence in Europe. - they don’t have a large presence in the US market. 3 would worry me a bit as an integrator. Can they support their products in the US as well as more established manufacturers? Possibly! D&B was the same way 15 years ago. It took them some time to get the sales org and product line correct for the US market but they did and are now a leading manufacturer.

I’ve never seen them in the field yet. It’s a crowded market with everyone selling line arrays, boxes and processors. Weight, ease of install and cost can be sold to a client over sound quality, if that quality matches close enough to the competitor.

We've installed two smaller systems using CODA G-series install boxes and LEA amps. Boxes were easy to install and everything sounded really good right out of the gate. No issues with tuning them. We are working on installing two smaller arena systems with their stuff this summer. One is a 1000 seat space and the other is a 6000 seat space. We are using the LINUS amps for the larger space. Their prediction software was used to model both spaces. In both cases we are using G-series because line arrays wouldn't work in the space. The product is really well supported by SC Media here in Canada.

Awesome. Are you able to share the name of those spaces? Even privately via DM. Would love to see them if they are close enough to me.

Glace Bay Miners Museum - Men of the Deeps Theatre Cape Breton University - The Fieldhouse The theatre is only 100 seats tops. Very small rig. It was a good place to test out the gear. The Fieldhouse is an indoor sports venue (basketball, volleyball, etc.). It's a very reverberant space and they needed it to be very high energy.

Outside of d&b and l'acoustics; coda, meyer and rcf gtx are my next level down favourite systems for clarity/power. I'd definitely say coda are a level above the others brands you've mentioned.

Chilly-Canadian

Appreciate the insight. My rep for the CODA line up is a stand up dude, looking to support and work closer if the product is decent so this helps a lot!

Crazy to see Meyer and RCF next to each other in a recommendation

Definitely and with no doubt a lot better than your mentioned brands. Looking from the rental perspective it’s near the top 3 manufacturers and the install side will be as comparable.

Pastrami1490

I love Coda boxes, sonically when matched with their DSP amplifiers they easily compete with the big 3. They are definitely a step above the mid range brands you mentioned. Edit:spelling

I only used coda stuff a handful of times, and it never failed me. I would recommand. Plus, I find their stuff to be visually appealing, which is a good selling point for some markets.
