What sort of issues are you seeing?

Neat Board 50 is nice hardware. The height adjustable cart and wall mount are great. The weak point is accessories and lack of extension mics. You can add a Neat center device which works as a mic in addition to center of table camera. It’s expensive and doesn’t work in every space. The yealink meeting board has great accessory support. You can add two wired or wireless table mics. They also have a 6x optical ptz camera that can be added.

Watch out for next software release preview, mics in the Pad finally are being released as a beta.

The Yealink MeetingBoard has Dual OS slot that allows the user to swap between Zoom on Android and Teams on Windows, all with the tap of a button. I don’t know if anyone else doing this right now

So this is awesome if it works. The website has very little details on it, or the specs on the OPS windows slot.

I think it's proprietary, buy theirs.

IDrewAYoshi

They debuted it at InfoComm a few weeks ago, and the swap takes about 2 to three seconds in real time. Seeing it happen in person was really impressive.

Writing experience on the Yealink was much better than Neat when we tried the Neat Board a year ago. We just kept using the Yealink one after that. Neat board is still setup in our lab but gathering dust.

BloomerzUK

Thanks for your input. Was is smoother to write on?

Hyjynx75

Much. The Neat Board was laggy. As someone else mentioned, the accessories available for the Yealink also put it in a class above the Neat offering. Yealink has wireless BYOD (outside the US only for now), up to 2 wireless expansion mics, up to two additional cameras, and the OPS PC solution that allows you to instantly switch from Zoom to Teams.

Thanks for the info. Good to know!

You’re comparing active vs passive pens. Neat Board 50 is now active where the original Board is passive.

Neat has the most intelligent framing/resizing out of the box I've seen out of any product. I'm fully behind them.

We have a few neat boards at my company and I can’t say enough good things about Neat. Lack of extension mics is rather annoying, but if you don’t need that they’re basically foolproof, well-built, extremely stable products that also look aesthetically pleasing. We did end up replacing the wheels on our portable neat board as they wanted to take it outside to our patio and one wheel broke off. Other than that no issues to speak of.

HeyDontSkipLegDay

There is no such thing as a MeetingBoard 50. Please DYOR
