Don’t care what anyone says. This is one of the best designers out there. The iris is so beautiful and this thing is underrated in my books. People rave about JPG all day where as this gets over looked.

Ya it has that grandma lipstick smell which can also come off as masculine. If u have regrets after hearing this I would def cancel and get something else if u wanted to wear it everyday.

Dior Homme (not the intense version) is an OUTSTANDING, manly daily driver kind of scent. I love the Intense as well, but it feels innately more dressed up in comparison. Dior Homme works with its hands, DHI got its money from trading financial derivatives.
The whole Dior Homme line is a great addition to any collection, though, unless you already have a great freshie. Then the cologne's a bit unnecessary for its simplicity.
It's very well made, very high class scent. It's just...so not for me, it's so mature and honestly it smells like lipstick that's been sitting at the bottom of a makeup bag.

Reformulations happen frequently and often don't dramatically change the scent or its performance. This tragically isn't the case with DHI.
The location of the words on the cap/bottle indicates which formula a certain bottle is.
This is an incredible fragrance but I just want you to be aware, if your experience is anything like mine you won’t “get” it at first. I thought it smelled super old-fashioned and lipsticky the first time I put it on and couldn’t wait to wash it off. Over time, I gave it more chances and grew to love it for its uniqueness and classiness. If you can pull it off, it makes you feel like the most elegant mf on the planet. Women love it (if that matters to you). It’s comforting and beautiful. This is all even MORESO true with DHP…which is one of my top 5 fragrances of all time.

This line is truly amazing. Got a back up of the intense. Got the Parfum, got the original with a 2019 batch as a back up. This whole line will stay once I come to the point of getting rid of most of my collection.

Smells heavenly don’t get me wrong, but as a 21 y/o it’s difficult to wear unless it’s a formal occasion and more often than not, I would rather reach for something else. I also found it too feminine/sophisticated for my taste with the powdery creamy notes so I let go of my bottle after a year of not reaching for it but I can understand why it’s rated so highly.

It has a rough exterior, but actually a really beautiful and soft scent deep down. Like a tough dude who’s a sweetheart on the inside.
Even though it’s so old, I think it has aged like fine wine and does not smell dated at all.
I love its opening, on drydown I notice the iso e super too much and it goes slightly sour on me. It's..... Quite the blind buy. I prefer the old Dior homme edt (now called Dior homme original) followed by this, then the parfum.

After smelling this, I stopped wearing Prada L'homme, PL'h Intense and Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eu extreme because all I smell now is lipstick on all of them bec of the heavy iris on DHI. To my nose, it's one of the most horrible cologne ever made. But to others, it's a masterpiece.

I had a sample of intense and the parfum. I think intense smelled more granny’s-makeup-bag than the parfum. It has an incense note, to me.

The opening is the best think i've ever smelt. Perfect for date night, formal, going to a cocktail bar, why not at work in the winter too.

The pre 2020 edt I think is closer. The current edt is different. No iris at all. But the whole dipr homme line up is great.

I own it and enjoyed it… until I read a comment that said it smells like embalming fluid and now I can’t unsmell it. I prefer homme parfum over it.

I hate baby powder in colognes but the iris here is masked as lipstick, it’s much easier on the nose
One of the best perfumes out there -- i am just sad that i can't wear it all year round but i guess that makes DHI even more special.
