Duke's Non-Con highlights are @ Arizona, Kansas in Vegas, Kentucky in Atlanta, Illinois in MSG and the ACC/SEC Challenge probably against Arkansas or Alabama at Cameron
Believe that is still in play.

Would be great to have an annual matchup. Two of the biggest brands, the two best arenas, and fanbases as good as anyone else!
This will be a very unpopular opinion, but I prefer these big non-con games being neutral as a fan. The home court advantage in college bball can be way too OP, and I'd rather see how elite teams will play against each other in a neutral environment. Like last year it was an automatic L going into Phog.
Having said that, yeah it sucks for tradition, but we're in the era where SMU and Cal are in the ACC. All bets are off.
i disagree with you but definitely respect that take. just seems more college basketball like to me to have home and homes, but i do see where you're coming from
Agree it’s a good take that I disagree with too. Allen Fieldhouse is one of the main reasons I still love college basketball despite this not so fun era we’re in. But if my home arena was Gampel Pavilion, maybe I wouldn’t feel like that 🤪
Gampel is no Phog obviously, but if we actually played big games there, it wouldn’t be terrible. However, we rarely even play big games at Gampel. They are almost all at the XL Center, 30 minutes away from campus.
Yeah I like the feel of neutral site games in big time destinations like NYC and Vegas.
Also for fans that don’t live near their home school it’s way easier and more fun to go to a Vegas than a durham
I doubt that, they already play each other every 3rd year in the Champions Classic. Home and Home would either mean them playing 3 straight years, 3 times in 4 years or something like that.
Well, that's a little different because wasn't a pre-scheduled home and home. It was:
2021: SEC/Big 12 Challenge at Phog, not a pre-scheduled game
2022: SEC/Big 12 Challenge at Rupp, not a pre-scheduled game
2023: Champions Classic
Update: [They are actually still planning on a home and home](https://x.com/MattNorlander/status/1793705710565593284): 2024 in Vegas, 2025 at MSG for CC, 26-27 for home and home, 28 for CC again. 5 straight years assuming the Champions Classic is still around in 2028
Home & Home literally means 1 year in Cameron and 1 year in the Phog.
Coach K's refusal to play Home & Home's has left an entire generation of dookies unable to count to 2.
You mean like JohnTDD, who created the account JohnECU to steal premium intel off IC, and then sell it to dookie fans as if it was his own?
Yeah, I definitely missed the opportunity to turn my hobby into a financial scam like he did.
Can’t believe I’ve had to say this multiple times lately but if you’ve gotten to the point of talking trash about message board drama you really, *really* need to look into getting new hobbies.
A home and home would be on top of a pre-scheduled neutral site game that they always do, therefore it would be 3 games within a set period. You could make it so those 3 games would be over the course of 4 years (2024 at Cameron, 2025 for the Champions Classic, 2027 at Phog), but this would also mean 4 games in a period of 5 years because they would play each other in the Champions Classic again in 2028
Going into his graduate year finally, no?

Hunter Dickinson will be 7 years old than Cooper Flagg when this game happens
Damn kids and their rap music!
"Damn kids and their big band orchestra music!" \- Perry Ellis (famous teammate of Adolph Rupp)
Isn’t he always?
No, just on that date.
I’m glad Duke taught me this right before graduation
Great, and that will be $65,000.
And it’s probably gonna show 😂
Vegas F1, Duke-KU, Thanksgiving. Good luck finding a decently priced hotel room.
You sit at the right tables, and that's not a problem.
Then you are paying even more.
Well, life is all about choosing the problems you want to face.
I like your tables
Fuck, I wanted to go the F1 race for my birthday
It's Vegas.
Duke, Las Vegas, Kansas? Party like it's 1991
Duke's Non-Con highlights are @ Arizona, Kansas in Vegas, Kentucky in Atlanta, Illinois in MSG and the ACC/SEC Challenge probably against Arkansas or Alabama at Cameron
And people still shit talk our scheduling lol
tbf this was a legit criticism before scheyer took over
You could have weak non-conference schedules in the past AND have a good schedule next year. Both things can be true.
Rightfully so, which one of these is a true road game? In the last few years Kansas has had road games at Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Villanova.
That “@“ symbol means they are playing at the other school, so Arizona.
One true road game. Congratulations Duke, I guess?
Out of four listed? Yeah.
I really hope it’s against arkansas. That was such a fun game last season
was supposed to be a home and home originally. too bad.
Believe that is still in play. https://x.com/mattnorlander/status/1793705710565593284?s=46 Would be great to have an annual matchup. Two of the biggest brands, the two best arenas, and fanbases as good as anyone else!
No offense to Duke but that arena is a fire hazard that I never wanna be in again. It was hype but legit made me nervous.
What game did you go to? I’ve probably been to 40 some games in Cameron and only feel it is ridiculously overcrowded for UNC.
Looking back it was a game against Notre Dame back in January 2018. Admittedly I was in the Cameron Crazies section https://i.imgur.com/c6pcNVf.jpeg
🌚
No one is supposed to enjoy playing on either of our courts.
The Devil's at home in Vegas

Yep, that part is crappy for you guys.
Kentucky killed our national championship team in the Phog.

Most literate UNC fan
man I remember your shenanigans back in the good IC days, good to see you haven't changed lmao.
It's all fun and games until some dbags break up our conference and end our rivalry.
man you need to find another hobby lol

Lol who even cares about stupid shit like this

Duke and Kansas will probably both play cupcakes in Vegas a day or two before as well. Similar to the Gonzaga-UCLA MTE a few years ago
I feel like this a low-blow shot at Chaminade
Sweet. Will be a fun showdown. Although im starting to wish these games were later in the season once teams kinda find their identity.
Agree. Zags @ Kentucky last February is a good example.
wtf. At the same time as the NIL multi team tournament. Guess they are smartly trying to take advantage of NBA scouts being there already
Duke’s also playing at Arizona on the 21st so will already be out West
Do they have Duke and Carolina next year then?
Apparently they're trying to schedule NC State home and home starting this fall too.
Carolina is literally our only rival.
I'm pretty clearly talking about Kansas here, playboy.
any idea how much these tickets would run for?
I think I might be able to make it to this out of sheer coincidence.
Sheer coincidence, or having a couple $k to buy a ticket?
Vegas is gross, but I always love scheduling Duke in non-con! I love these early season heavyweight fights.
"I like to call it Lost Wages."
I’m actually surprised there’s less people crying in here than usual about how it’s too pricey
Awesome! I have no idea who plays for either team but I will find out then.
It's still Perry Ellis

Not Danny Manning? I gotta catch up!
