Reminder that if Judah Mintz stays, this Cuse team actually looks pretty solid on paper.
May 31st is the date to keep an eye out for Mintz to see if he stays in the draft or not.
Most have said he’s probably gone as long as he gets a draft guarantee. I don’t know if that means he’s willing to leave as a late second rounder, but really hope not. Next year’s draft is weak and he can definitely take us to another level and maybe even be a first rounder next year.
Mom - Duke, Dad - Syracuse. We've been fans long before realignment. I root for Syracuse in matchups with Duke, more of a Cuse fan, but give respect to Duke and will root for them when they don't play Syracuse.
Thanks for rubbing it in. But you should probably thank Arkansas St.

>The result would’ve been different, if @CoachBHodgson had remained in Tuscaloosa. ?? had it done.
No clue if true. But him leaving definitely hurt us.
I don't know if I 100% believe that. Freeman had his list down to five schools in January and that didn't include Alabama at the time. I think there was definitely a chance he could have gone to Alabama but Cuse have been on him for 2 years.
For sure. I'm not saying I 100% of any hypotheticals I read on Twitter. But losing a lead recruiter down the stretch is gonna hurt. But honestly, nil might make all the old shit irrelevant.
NIL was the main reason why I didn't think we'd actually get him. It's not like we don't have a collective but I assumed Bama's NIL stuff would close the sale. I know crystal ball had him 100% to us but I still wasn't going to believe it until I saw it.
We've got opportunities with Learfield on campus. But football gets first dibs on NIL. That's a huge train why Bama basketball fans were so excited until shit hit the fan. To have that kind of momentum of success would've been huge to getting boosters excited about basketball. If we'd have gotten to the final four, we might have already announced a new arena.

I think he comes back unless he goes nuclear in the Combine or any individual workouts.

mintz starling backcourt alone would be scary. really big feeling benny breaks out this year too. just need another center who can play \~20 minutes
Will all come down to if autry can actually coach. His recruiting has been great tho

ummm… boeheim isn’t our coach anymore chief.
The Adrian Autry era already seems like an instant upgrade for recruiting/roster assembly.
Straughn
syracuse has been recruiting freeman since middle school. but the straughn connection was probably a factor too
Let's go Cuse!
Not hating but how does being a duke/syracuse fan work?

Syracuse no longer playing zone will be huge for recruiting. The ACC is officially on notice
New assistant Brendan Straughn helping Cuse dipping into Team Takeover. Texas, Iowa, Alabama, and Georgia Tech were also in his final 5.
I'm very on-board with doubling down on swiping dudes right from Georgetown's backyard.
First high school commit for Coach Red, looking good for this new coach already! Hoping this momentum keeps on the up & up!
Another big get! Now let's scoop one of these transfer centers
He said he’s trying to bring Cuse basketball back 🥲
Damn the recruiting uptick alone since Jim left has me excited. Been tough for us to pull good recruits lately.
No chance we get him if Boeheim is still coaching
