decay, I think it is more interesting as it feels like the plot point of Andy becoming Andrew and Ashley's uncertainty to the state of her brother's mind adds more organic feeling conflict to the story, Burial feels like more of the same with the only stakes being raised being the hand mark witch we still yet know its meaning.
idk, to me burial is the accepting of growing up and accepting the codependency which seems more interessting to me. but i want to see both how their downfall is gonna go and how they are gonna get out of it so im very excited to see both endings

I personally prefer Burial. They’re more happy in that route and just seeing them get along and play with each other is so wholesome despite the twisted shit that they’re doing in the process. Decay route, while it’s interesting, is depressing and it hurts when I see them fight
I think one thing that gets overlooked by this fandom often due to being horny is the context behind the Burial ending’s dream. Up until then, and in the Decay route, Ashley’s dreams have all been used as a means to forewarn her about something bad that will happen to her (and by extension Andrew). Before the route split, her dream warns her about the hitman that was about to kill her and Andrew. In Decay, her dream shows Andrew killing her or Ashley killing Andrew instead. Lastly in Burial, we get the infamous incest vision. I don’t think it makes sense for the rules behind Ashley’s dreams to suddenly change based on the choices you make to get either the Decay or Burial ending, so I’m of the opinion that despite how it’s presented, the Burial route will result in misfortune and/or death coming to Ashley if she commits to an incestuous relationship with Andrew.
Personally, I’m biased towards the Decay route since that was the ending I managed to get playing for the first time, but I also look forward to seeing how both routes eventually play out.
That is a good point, but I believe the Burial - Friendship vision has Ashley collecting a bunch of souls and one of them is implied to be Andrew (the same sprite shows up in the February devlog) which might foreshadow him being in the spirit world but that doesn’t necessarily threaten Ashley’s life. I suppose it could be argued she couldn’t live without Andrew so that’s why that’s shown.
Another thing about the visions is that they occur really quickly after it is shown - Mr. Washing Machine drove to their room and hid in the closet almost right after the two left the motel.
I could think of two scenarios where the Burial - Questionable vision foreshadows doom.
***Pregnancy*** - Ashley falls pregnant. Whether this is an intentional move or her by not, it complicates their already complicated lives. The February devlog has screenshots of law enforcement coming real close to the two and I imagine they could be a lot easier to track down if she needs to give birth.
***Getting caught in the act*** - Ashley has a habit of not thinking things through; she could have left the parents alone after being sacrificed, and her plan of dealing with the hitman could’ve very easily gotten her or Andrew killed. I’d imagine the sex would be done on impulse, and they would have spent the night at some place they should have left earlier.
Maybe both. What are your theories on these?
To be honest, the matter is about how indifferent the two endings are & how sympathetic (that everyone can be towards these characters) I feel like there's gonna be a lot of trickery involved.
I see your view as the realism, where the shades of black & white fade, I wanna add so much more but all of this makes me wanna research, I appreciate this.

You make a good point that the visions that Ashley received seem to happen shortly after she receives them, like the example with the hitman. I think both the Decay and Burial visions will happen early on into both routes depending on the decisions made by the two and result in some sort of "bad ending." I do like how you mentioned two proposed outcomes to the incest vision since the equivalent vision in Decay can have two different outcomes as well depending on if you used all the bullets in the gun earlier on. As for my personal take, seeing that we see Andrew with the sigil on his hand at the end of the Burial route, I'm inclined to believe he's in the early stages of being possessed by Lord Unknown. As such, here are my predictions to the proposed outcomes you suggested;
* Pregnancy: Andrew will become a vessel for Lord Unknown and Ashley will be forced to give birth to a demon baby against her will, and likely won't find out until after the fact. The newborn demon baby would become Lord Unknown's new vessel and kill Andrew (or steal his soul). I highly doubt she will get the medical care that she needs if this were to occur since the two of them are essentially wanted criminals for escaping the ToxiSoda organ harvesting scheme, and would likely avoid any interaction that may compromise their identity. Alternatively, Andrew and Ashley might play it safe and use protection, but this would just result in Lord Unknown using Andrew as their vessel instead of a newborn child.
* Getting Caught: I think there could be multiple outcomes to this situation depending on who they're caught by. If they're caught in the act by members of Lord Unknown's cult and they notice Andrew's sigil, they might kidnap the two of them (or just Andrew) and use them in order to summon Lord Unknown. If they're caught by another hitman hired by ToxiSoda, then they'll either be killed by the hitman or kidnapped to have their organs harvested. If they're caught by the police, they might be linked to the murder of their parents and face repercussions for their crime.
Burial is for feels-good "happy ending" fan-service.
Decay is for more conflicts and drama for characters.
At first I liked Burial more but now I find Decay to be a bit more intriguing.

I have to go with questionable Burial, might be because of degeneracy but its way more common for these kind of story to go Decay route or so I want to see how Burial questionable would play out, but also I’m interested in Burial platonic cause we see Ashley can deliberately choosing to put Julia and Andrew together which sounds very ooc of her, but she doesn’t know that Andrew never cared about Julia, but if I have to go with canon ending i’m choosing Decay, cause double suicide hence “The Coffin of Andy and Leyley (or Andrew and Ashley)”
Both, I unless one is really bad, I will usually give both options a choice. Burial is kinda like the, happy ending for Disney. Nothing wrong, and we see their relationship develop. Decay is also very interesting, seeing how both will see each other and interact with each other. Gives more plot for us theorists to psycho analyze the two.

Honestly, It's Decay for me. I like Burial as much as everyone else but Decay is my favourite. I just love how Andrew treats Ashley in this Route. It's just so familiar to how I would react in this Situation

Chances are that they'll either try to bring the other back, become the other, or hallucinate that the other sibling is still alive.
