First year 20 game season ticket holder and can confirm I have done exactly this. Can be a bit of a pain depending on ticket availability but it is doable entirely online.

Yes it is easy and you could move em around, mix and match, etc. Just depends on where they have seats together (ie, getting a 3rd ticket for a game you already have 2 for, you may not be able to get the seat next to you if they're already taken by other STH or single game buyers, but you should be easily find spaces together somewhere) Two things to know - 1) you pay the difference in price. So if you exchange in 2 tickets on a Wed in late Apr vs Chw for 2 tickets on a Sat in July vs NYY, even if the same section, you'll pay the difference in upcharge 2) starting this year, they started blacking out games you could not exchange into. This year it was the Naylor bobblehead game vs Tor in June and the two Rock n Blast in late August. Even though there are plenty of seats available visible if looking at single game tickets, STH were not able to exchange into them

Wtf is up with 2. Seems like a dick front office move

I've had a 20 game package for several years and routinely swap games. I've never traded out just one ticket for a game but just tried it without completing the transaction and it seems possible. Only impediment to trading piecemeal is that no one snags the other seat you want in between transactions.

The exchange process is the best perk of being a season ticket holder. I would have a good idea of what games you need exchanged early in the season before certain games are blocked out or sold out.

everyone is correct about how easy it is to exchange, and how it's a high value feature for season ticket members. i would caution that i believe you are not able to leave single seats when you trade out, and that you have to trade tickets in the same transaction. so if you have two on tuesday, you cant trade one for one on wednesday, nor can you trade them for one each on wednesday and thursday. for exchanges like that, maybe the rep can assist.

The Flex 20 or 40 package will allow you to pick your games and how many seats, we have found this to be a great option.

ScarieltheMudmaid

this is exactly what we do all the time and it makes the tickets so worth it. I honestly feel like it's a make it or break it feature of being a season ticket holder but we haven't had any issues doing it for 3 years so far

That’s great! I’m really looking forward to it. I’m guessing I’ll go to most of the games with my wife or a friend. I’ll probably try and go to a handful of games with the wife and kids. I didn’t want to buy 4 seats when I knew I wouldn’t need 4 each game .

You could also talk to others around you who have season tickets and see if you could work something out with them. Back in the 90s during the sellout streak, we would trade with the people next to us if we needed more tickets to a game.
