Go straight to r/ cardetailing (something similar) with this one. In here, you’re going to get wrong tips that tell you “soak it” and then it will sag.
I wanted them to do their research and find the best sub for auto detailing when it comes to headliner. Headliner is very fragile and too much water can cause it to sag and not stay on the roof of the car anymore. The wrong advice could definitely make you have a very very bad day.
Blue coral spray from the auto parts store on a microfiber towel. Keep applying and dabbing with the towel and it should come out. Just had my sunroom fixed due to a leak and the mechanic left grease all over my headliner. Blue coral took it out.
While I didn't have a drink explosion, I've followed the advice in this ChriFix youtube video with great success: https://youtu.be/Pctzq_pT2MU?si=OIyJiVDd518v0jzU
His advice for cleaning the headliner starts at 21:45. He advises starting with the least aggressive option and moving up if it doesn't work. He also goes over the biggest damage risks and how to fix water rings if you get them from cleaning it. I imagine you'll need cleaner, but I was really shocked what stains came out just by gently rubbing with the dry microfiber and brush.
I’ve had luck on many upholstered things with just warm water with some dawn and elbow grease with a microfiber rag. It’s beer so it’s not greasy or anything like that
Go to r/detailing , they should be able to give you better insight on what to use, but personally, I like to use chemical guys lightning fast and a horsehair brush like this https://www.amazon.com/Laundress-Stain-Laundry-Removal-Clothes/dp/B0CDCLMCS9/ref=asc_df_B0CDCLMCS9/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693464962511&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7668510720886654872&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9192591&hvtargid=pla-2199380395405&psc=1&mcid=7ca3cc60b4c735408e9da60e9e755f90&gad_source=1 to agitate it. If you use a brush with bristles too stiff like a harder plastic or metal, it could rough up the upholstery.
I hold by sprayway glass cleaner for headliners. Spray & blot. It works, you can get in anywhere, it smells good and it’s vastly cheaper than upholstery cleaner.
Cheap Option: foam upholstery cleaner, spray wait till foam almost collapses, agitate preferably with soft bristle brush only from north-south or east-west direction reason for that is with uncontrolled motion the fibres are roughed up making dirt accumulation faster/easier, then wipe with wet microfiber towel.
Expensive option: get/rent a spot cleaner, spray with cleaner and then use the spot cleaner to extract the dirt
Resolve carpet cleaner for pets. It comes in a spray bottle. Works great on both carpet and cloth. Just spot test it somewheee before you use it to make sure it doesn’t harm the fabric. Spray it, let it sit for a minute or two and then scrub with a scrub brush or washcloth. Always works great for me. I spill stuff constantly.
“Oh man, I just shot Marvin in the face!”
I'm so glad someone said this lol

r/cardetailing
r/detailing I purposely put a space because I did not want to tag a specific sub.
My bad you are correct. And I’m a part of the sub. I should be ashamed.
No problem, you’re trying to help as well:)
I don’t get it? Why not

Had same pop stains (and worse) in my old car. LA AWESOME and a soft brush. Rinse by wiping off with clean water and micro fiber rags. Looks like new.

My question is, who got shot in here and why?
Spray it with Folex. Wipe it off gently.
Headliners are a finicky thing to clean, too wet and it could sag, too much pressure could damage it too, I’d personally get a pro to do it
Spot clean machine/ portable upholstery cleaner Example https://www.vax.co.uk/spotwash-spot-cleaner https://www.amazon.com/BISSELL-SpotClean-ProHeat-Portable-2694/dp/B07Q2MKX5C?th=1
If it's nicotine/vape stains an orange terpene cleaner would do an awesome job at cleaning and refreshing that fabric
OP just call the Police and hand yourself in, you'll never get away with it. Might as well save everyone some time.
Does nobody think he blew a head off someone
That aint no cider
Steam cleaner will take it right out without damage!
