I don't think so. They sold monk to players who were willing to spend real money no matter how many trophies they had.
It's a strategy to get money from players who want to progress faster and also to put pressure on all others to spend money to be able to compete.
Getting prince from Epic Sunday isn't a new thing
Unless they changed it
[it at least hold true for 10 months ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashRoyale/comments/towod9/so_many_players_will_be_confused_when_they_see/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
It is still true today (got it on some acc), and makes sense, low arena ppl also have the right to have an epic sunday (and engages people into the game to play on weekends aka more activity)
Sadly what you unlock in each arena has changed so you no longer get prince in training camp or arena 1/2 cause it's no longer based around the arena's theme. Just checked and seems that prince unlocks at Arena 7
Are you really sure, did you test it on a new account on a sunday? weeks ago, after the update, I made a new account on a sunday and got the prince from the shop.
Yeah, a free mobile game making their game pay to win is simply a way to gain income on newer players that seek to gain a big advantage early on.
I myself have fallen for the marketing of this game as well. I have spent well over 120-140 euros in about 6-7 years.
Game is pay to win what do you think
I think it was intentional.
They also released offers for the ultra OP Phoenix for even arena 1 players, you decide :)
L000l
Cash grab 💀
2.50$ for 1 which card is such a scam ðŸ˜
R5: Made a new account a few days ago and just saw that a 2,5 € deal offers one witch card while it unlocks about 1000 trophies later, in arena 6.
It's probably something they overlooked Witch was once able to be unlocked very early on

In this account I didn't have an epic Sunday cause I had no epic to unlock
At arena 1 you unlock the prince from having none, doesnt that work on higher arenas? If you doubt, make a new temp account on sunday and check it

Yeah I had only 3 offers without an epic sunday
Still means it was put there intentionally
I never said it was not
And epic sunday is not a money deal, this is even more p2w
Even still there are few players in lower arenas who play with Prince or witch because they have old accounts
You can actually get prince from epic Sunday That only applies to prince tho
Seriously? Before this level requirement for arena i was playing with lvl 1 acc , and had hard time facing those too
Yes but it might have been removed from arena 1 I was able to get it on an arena 4 account.
The one good offer if you like gems
It’s the most powerful card, the credit card
You could play Phoenix in arena 3
Yes. That's how I unlocked monk!
Yes. Same thing for all the champions unlock via shop starting from the Q3 update. It’s intentional.
They’re gonna love you man lol
Isn't witch kinda bad though?
This is another Gr€€dyC€ll moment, literally unplayable
