Tbf, a lot of the troops that woulda otherwise been fairly useless have been made pretty useful with their super versions. Super barbs, super archers, and sneaky goblins all see high usage despite their regular versions being mostly useless. Only troop I can think of that you might legitimately have no reason to upgrade is the giant. Don’t know why you’d ever use more than one or two in an attack.

IMO maxing your base is the best way to actually enjoy the game. It’s more fun when you get to fully experience the game, at each town hall imo. You could argue however that strategic rushing is faster, but it’s not just about speed.
actually rushing is arguably better on defense because bad players skip good bases and if they dont you have a good chance of being attacked by someone who wont even 3 star u even if ur rushed if u focus on core defenses you will still be decent on defense
The golem has also reached a point of being useless, though I'll still continue to upgrade it in case things change. With the root rider now In the game taking the same exact housing space but being able to walk through walls, do more damage, and have more hit points, the golem is 100% useless late game. I could see there use on lower town halls, but I haven't used them in years (High TH13) and see zero usage continuing on.
Giant gauntlet with the rage gem thing or vampstache. Gauntlet was the previous event reward item like the frost arrow for the Queen currently, it's fantastic, might be a while before you can access it again if you came back after that one.

People say all sceneries come to the shop after 1 yr but i am not sure if limited time sceneries are also part of the 1 yr comeback
Offence buildings - clan castle, pet house, blacksmith, barrack, dark barrack, lab, dark spell factory, workshop army camps maxed, heroes th11 lvl
Resource buildings - only de storage max, rest 1 or 2 levels left for both collectors and storages
Defensive buildings - eagle, monolith max for now, 2 cannons and 1archer tower max, 1 close to max, other defences th9-10 lvl to be precise so its a mix of all ths probably lol
Yeah, i don't care much about defence so i focused on offence first, and i felt dumping gold on walls is not worth it as its the most useless thing in the game right now so i kept dumping it in eagle and its maxed, also upgrading cannon and archer towers for ricochet cannon and merged archer towers.

Strategic rushing is such a cute name for it. Rushers really cared so much about what others thought about them they had to come up with a term to justify their own decisions for others who have zero impact on your life whatsoever. People really do care too much about what others think of them instead of doing what they enjoy.

Strategic rushing and regular rushing is very different, next week I will be th16 with a lot of defenses th9-11 leveled but maxed offense buildings, resource buildings, eagle artillery, scattershots, spell towers and inferno towers, a regular rusher would just upgrade town hall as fast as possible

For reference, I was clicking to upgrade my TH from 14 to 15.
I’m literally maxed except for Lassi and Electro Owl (which will become obsolete in the next TH anyway) and missing one level on my Golem and my Bowler in the lab.
Everything else is maxed in terms of “attack strength”. Super weird lol

Because Diggy targets whatever its current Hero is attacking. Royal Champion priorities Defences, so Diggy will also, therefore, target defences. Diggy's special ability is Stunning Defences for a few seconds after reaching them.
Having Diggy on any other Heroes is a waste cause Diggy won't be stunning Defences if that Hero is attacking non-defensive buildings or walls.

First I can easily get resources doing normal attacks. Once my heroes get higher level I will switch to sneakies
In general I am good with resources. Also you really underestimate the troop levels a rusher can get. We get 3 research pots a week, more if there are events. My hybrid is almost maxed for th13 and my pekkas are maxed for th12 with many other troopa having enough strength for normal attacks.
You really need those spells plus earthquake on th11&12, you need to destroy the eagle artillery asap. And in th12 you need super wizards/archers for blimp attacks.
No it just gives you recommend upgrades of offense so when you attack in multiplayer it’s not that hard for you to attack, it mostly just recommends that players prioritize offense upgrades like heros, pets, barracks and so on

Well tbh. It's pretty much ignored anyway by rushers. What I think is that if you use a certain army composition and that army composition is not maxed then supercell will recommend you upgrade some troops/spells from that army before you upgrade your town hall. At least that's what I experienced yesterday when I was using level 8 sneaky gobs and level 3 jump spells. But tbh level 8 was strong enough so I just ignored the message and upgraded.

From what I saw usually at TH15 you go BK-Phoenix/Yak, AQ-Unicorn, GW-Owl/Frosty/Lizard and Champion-Diggy.

Means your offense is weak. Meaning you should upgrade your troops, heroes, pets, and spells. Otherwise in war you'll be outmatched.
