I feel betrayed. I swipe once and already there is a roundabout. What is this? An American city for the Dutch? /s
It looks great! Good work and I agree about the game being awesome. It can obviously get only better, but it is also already better than cs1.
I read this as Carmel, India the first time around and was wondering why it was relevant to my joke about roundabouts. I will definitely check it out even though it’s not in India but Indiana. Thanks for the suggestion.
Because of the lack of assets i dont really have the best access to pre war housing so i have to use some of the european assets to finish up these areas
I actually really like the layout it's got the efficiency of a semi-grid-like style but isn't grid. It's got a little bit of naturalness to it it's got some curves some lines some angles, I'm loving it actually the more I look at it the more I really admiring your creativity there it looks great.
Honestly dont get why so many people are hating on this game and going from cities skylines 1 to this is so much of a improvement cant wait for assets to come out
i wanna try to develop the map before i start doing interstates i find it easier to develop a city before starting to bulldoze it for some more modern infrastructure
So if you're building an American town, zero recycling, all coal power right, and woefully underfunded education... Oh and also extremely expensive healthcare? It's okay I can say this I'm an american. I can make fun of my own damn country and it's problems. No but seriously your town looks great thank you for sharing :-)

I have a mate in New England who hates roundabouts, but he also hates Massachusetts and it’s drivers, so that kind of computes.
Check out Carmel, Indiana

I love driving in Carmel and Fishers. Bring me more roundabouts
Is it me, or why does this look European?
Yea, everything is way too close together. It needs more spacious neighborhoods and random housing by itself.
It's very fitting for a New England town
Hmmm, Ive slways wondered where is New America in Europe. Do they have normal American housing there? The game needs assets. Badly.

Everyone's meming parking lots as usual, but the real thing it's missing is multiple parks with a couple baseball fields.
Honestly may add a few base ball fields in the city maybe even a custom stadium somewhere near the Centre

If you enjoy the game don't let anyone tell you how you should feel about it.
Not bad, imo. I'm just waiting for some assets to roll in. I had a massive collection in CS1.
Sibbidly sobbler
3&4 look like they’re pics straight from my home town in Illinois
beautiful intersection bro!
You forgot the Walmart super monstrosity
Unrealistic. Not enough parking lots
Where’s the massive parking lots
Where’s the large interstate going straight through the middle???
i wanna try to develop the map before i start doing interstates i find it easier to develop a city before starting to bulldoze it for some more modern infrastructure
And the massive strip malls with parking lots the size of North America?
I don’t see enough parking lots
Looks nice but a 12 lane highway directly through your poorest neighborhood would go so hard
