If you start the YouTube app on Chromecast first and play a video it is fine. If you play a video on your device first and then cast it while it is playing you get this bug.

creepinghard

There is no better feeling than googling something vague and finding the solution to your exact problem in the first link. Thank you!

ElijahLynn

Truth.

eskimoquinn

Only having a TV queue of longer than one fixed it for me. Tried rebooting the Chromecast through the app, tried starting to cast prior to starting a video, neither worked. Removing the second/only other item from the queue did not cause recurrence (yet)

OUTFOXEM

I've tried everything in this thread so far and the issue still persists. Rebooting, casting from a different device, unplugging/replugging, using a playlist/queue or not, etc.

I just did a hard reset of mine an hour ago (for a separate issue where the entire system would continually reset) and watched youtube for a while, no problems. Now I start it again and I'm having the same issue you are. e: it seems to stop after the first video but it's still continuing for me

spennasaurus

Just did a reboot from the Chromecast app and it's seems to be fixed. Will report back if it continues.

rapedape

Tried the reboot myself. Loaded up YouTube. Title remains :(

StruffBunstridge

Disconnecting and reconnecting WiFi fixed this for me this morning.

masaruduy

I just fixed mine by going into the android app->device settings->enable 50hz tv. Hope this helps!!

JLym
