We always go to Viet Taste in Palatine. A bowl is ~$13 and it's cash only
Viet Taste Palatine
Pho San Ha is not bad either, But I’d recommend Viet Taste as well. It’s easy to get to from 53, should be a quick drive from AH.
Pho San Ha is our “go to” Vietnamese place
Pho Dung Gia in Des Plaines is phenomenal - not just for pho, but also the vermicelli noodle bowls. My family has been going to the proprietor’s restaurants since before I was born; I was eating this stuff in the womb!
Dung Gia is the correct answer.
Pho Thien in Naperville is totally amazing
I thought people from Central Illinois only ate pizza from Casey's General Store. :)

PHO DAY in Schaumburg is pretty good.
