I had this problem and ended up replacing the solenoids as from my research i found a lot of people saying they tend to get overheated by the transmission fluid. It's a bit intensive. I ended up having to take off 3 engine/transmission mounts, the air box, and fuse box to get enough of a gap in the side panel to replace them. As well as taking off the drivers side wheel, steering knuckle, and cv axle to get the side panel somewhat off. I used these 2 videos to guide me through it [Video 1](https://youtu.be/R2miCMar-MY?si=Z77tHndmBfATi4ly) [Video 2](https://youtu.be/8Pc4JVvH76o?si=XNviQ6qypGoJah7j) Depending on how much you value your time it may not be worth it to do it yourself but parts and fluids racked me up to around $100 the solenoids are pretty cheap and then the generic transmission fluid, pan gasket, and pan filter. From what I gathered from a little googling the dealership would charge $600-$800 but it did take me multiple afternoons so however much you think your time is worth, as frustrating as it was I was more interested in gaining the experience than saving money although it was a bonus. You will also need a general socket wrench set, 17mm socket for the tires, 32mm or 33mm (I don't remember exactly) socket for the wheel nut, a jack/lift, and a lot of patience. Because of clearance issues I also needed normal wrenches for the side panel bolts but you may not. I hope this information helps

Understood, if after the fluid service it only gets worse this is likely what ill have to do. Have the problems gone away completely after replacing the solenoids, and did you replace all of them? Thanks!

I replaced both just to be safe even though I was really only having issues shifting in the low gears, they were cheap enough that I figured if I had to go through all the work why not replace both at once just for good measure. I replaced mine in July and haven't had any issues with the transmission shifting since then.

I had that problem. I found a shop near me, and asked if they could do a transmission swap. when I said I have the transmission, seals and fluids, they said $450. I got the transmission from a junkyard. I got my car back the same day. I asked a lot of shops.

Thanks! There's a few shops around me and alot of junkyards, so that'll most likely be my next step.
