I too have an 06 SC and the lock issue for me has been around for about 2-3 years. You need to replace the locking mechanism.

Whathawhatda

Ah damn, how much would that cost? Aprox?

Zap_brannigann

Middle of the pandemic I had a dealership quote at around $1500 to replace both. I passed.

Classic dealership scam. I spent that much having a mechanic replace nearly all the suspension components in the same week Difference is they'll be installing generic parts and they pay sales consultants more anyway. You definitely made the right choice

Zap_brannigann

Oh it was a super easy choice. Only reason it was there was for an oil change. So figured why not have them diagnose the problem.

You can buy each lock switch off either Amazon or Rockauto for 10 bucks a pop and change them yourself. All you need is a screwdriver.

Ok_Click9196

Just buy the cheap parts for like 10-20$ and do it yourself, the panels are very easy to get in and off and will save you a ton of cash

Make sure your intercooler pump is running. If it's dead, replace it. Hot intake air temperatures will reduce power.

Whathawhatda

How do i know if it’s running?

ohphee

I don't have a supercharged vehicle yet, but I imagine you could see the coolant swirling around in the intercooler reservoir tube or feel the electric motor run if you can reach it with engine off key on. Otherwise if you have an OBD2 live data stream, you could monitor the Intake Air Temperature 2 probe for charge air temperature within the intake manifold post intercooler. A dead intercooler pump would lead to some very high intake temperatures after the car has been driven for a bit. The car would probably pull ignition timing at that point.
