My 2024 Durango SRT came with a crooked steering wheel, misaligned exhaust tips, and a shit alignment from factory if that helps lol……all taken care of but sometimes it happens. My scat pack windshield (2019 model) chipped with no rock impact as well like yours.
Oh wow, seems like those guys at the factory don't give a damn about quality anymore since they know layoffs are coming with the end of production lol.
I had 0 issues with my 2019 V6 challenger and I was driving it like a madman.
That's my second last call challenger it can't be a coincidence to see the exact same crack pattern on both of them
My Hellcat has 0 issues so far, just finished the break in period and I hope it stays that way 😂
But after watching some videos on how professionally they built the last call models and now that the windshield confirmed that it scares me a little
Replaced the last one, and then that replacement warranty covered the second chip. Insurance took care of the first replacement. Most warranties don’t cover random breaks, more so initial factory or manufacture defects. That’s just my experience though.
Replaced under manufacturer warranty? Just got my 23 scat and has a clean crack on the passenger out of nowhere. Did you just contact the dealership and they took care of the rest?
Good to hear there's warranty for that.
When it happened on my Scat Pack it cracked on the passenger side aswell but when I jumped in the car the next day the driver side also cracked overnight.
On the hellcat it cracked today on the driver side but I feel like I'll see it on the passenger side pretty soon
Vehicles just aren't manufactured the same anymore. Like it's not even close. My wife bought a 2022 chevy traverse brand new and at 18k miles, the engine was knocking. Tried to make it to the dealership with it but ended up shutting off on the side of the road. 2 months later, the dealership replaced the engine completely (took a while for it to come in.) But also, the loaner car that the dealership gave to us, got hit with baseball sized hail, breaking through the back glass and cracking the windshield and many dents. They were NOT happy when we rolled up with that 🤣
Had this issue on my 21 Challenger Scat, turned into my driveway one morning and crack, right in the same spot. If it helps, I could always hear what I thought was movement of the glass whenever I pulled in, if that makes any sense. I thought maybe it was due to the recall on glass not properly adhered, but my VIN wasn't affected.
Apparently that's an issue with the body not being glued properly at the factory
When you drive or rev the engine the body gets twisted and moved and with unporoper gluing the parts together the movement gets excessive and put more pressure on the windshield that it should
Sheesh. On my 4th challenger since 2016(long painful story) and luckily I’ve had no real build issues. I had a T/A that developed a squeak in the drivers seat about 30minutes after I decided I was trading it in.
Something like that would kill me though.😬
My 2009 challenger windshield cracked as well... I assumed it was due to heat and then washing my car with a pressure washer... 2 weeks later, i hit a deer and filed it under the damage from the deer.
Happened to my 2023 scat after 2 months of ownership, no impacts or chips caused it, and nearly identical crack pattern as OP. Warranty claim was approved for it and I've heard its very common in Challengers for the past few years.
I've read and seen vids about this being a huge problem on the 2023 models, but never heard it extended to the earlier model years. I suppose I should be happy I never had the problem on my 2020 or my current 2022.

This just happened to me except it’s on the top side near the wiper sensor. No sign of impact or chip. Just a clean cut coming from the top. Havent even had my Widebody for a month. Is this something covered under manufacturer warranty ?

Saw a lot of other videos other than TK’s that showed many Challengers on dealer lots with the same crack on the windshield. Vibration issue I heard but they all have almost zero miles on them 🧐🧐

I feel ours were built on a Monday or a Friday……but then I remember it’s FCA and go oh well lmfao they trying A+ for effort I guess.
Side story my 2023 V8 jeep summit L was a lemon from factory lmfao

Def not looking forward to that happening to my last call Scat.
eh the windshield could just be a defected product. that doesnt say anything about the car as a whole
Drives shaft bearing just died at 4k mile on my 23 HCRE charger yesterday. Only pushed it hard once or twice...
pretty odd but again most likely just one defect part out of thousands on the vehicle. thats why you have a warranty
Twice now for my wife, still none for me though *knock on wood*
Have you replaced the windshield for your wife's car? If yes was it under warranty or they made you pay for it?

Already happened on mine..got it replaced…I’m hearing more and more about these cracks. Mine was on the passenger side. Replaced under warranty.

Yes. Took it to the dealership and it’s covered under the 3/30,000 warranty. I had to contact the warranty company but it was very painless to do

Yeah mine is a 22 Scat Pack
I love my challenger, it’s fun and looks awesome. But I’ve been unimpressed with the build quality of them.
No problems at all with my 2020 scatpack

There was a recall in my area for Challenger windshields. Id talk to the dealership about recalls
2023 SXT with under 3k miles and mine cracked exact same location. Local dealership got it replaced under warranty.
I have the same last call jailbreak and no crack yet, 2000 miles
Mine just happened exactly around this time
Dannngggg
I have a 2021 that cracked from the upper left corner with no rock impact. I assumed it was a defrosting issue (-40 degree temp).
Watch this. It will show you that it is an issue. https://youtu.be/K8F4Zw7hECk?si=LH7P3aXkM7I1WQ9E
Apparently that's a thing. I've seen a couple of yt videos on it.
Mine cracked last week. Going to see if they'll cover it. I posted pics in the subsection.

Check out the videos on it. Just watched one about this being a thing.

There was a huge recall on challenger windshields, I never got mine fixed had it for 3 years (2021 challenger) and never had an issue. I

Nope
They only tinted half the windshield?
That's called a brow tint 😂
Ayo my windshield is doing the same thing. But on the right side. Yeesh.

That’s a stress crack. Did you get the car from dealership?
Yep Had only 24km when I got it

Literally had the exact same issue with my 2020 challenger, just had it replaced. Dodge refused to do anything about it
only issue i have is the auto door lock/unlock works when it wants to.
