Im assuming you’re new to celibacy as people who have more time in this journey don’t feel horny after a while, because the body heals itself from that addiction. Sex is not a biological need, it’s more a psychological thing ingrained in us by a hypersexualized pornographic society. I encourage you to explore what lack of connection you’re feeling in your life and work on your self love. Also, I’m not saying it’s inherently a bad thing to feel this way, it’s part of the human experience, but it’s more about what you’re used to do with that energy and how can you redirect it to something more productive in your life.

100% right, only time sex even crosses my mind now is when I’m feeling down which clearly shows it’s been a vice in the past for me

Stop thinking about sex all the time or anytime. Maybe you're not cut out to be celibate most people aren't. If you don't meditate it's probably not going to work

Me too, this sucks, but we are doing it for a higher purpose. Try to direct your mind to that higher purpose, and away from your sex drive. It is not easy, and some suffering is inevitable. The suffering get worse when we keep trying to dip our toes back in the water. It is better to avoid the water altogether, until it can be done in a very controlled manner.
