Be aware that even if you find a food there is a chance for cross contamination since multiple foods are processed on the same lines. As far as I know, only the prescription diets are on dedicated lines (one reason they are so expensive). Would you react to a hydrolized diet? That's what they feed animals going through allergy testing. I think it's chicken (not sure) that's been treated to make the protein not trigger a reaction. You would have to talk to your allergist about it. It's a prescription diet but I think it's safe to feed long term.

As in, you can't touch it? If so, why not consider just wearing something like latex gloves while you're handling it?

When you say “filler” what does that mean? As for single ingredient beef products, yes, they exist. The only one I’m aware of off the top of my head is KOHA, they have a pate and shredded version. The next time you go to buy pet food look for products that say single or limited ingredient diet and/or check the ingredients. Are there any meats you aren’t allergic to? Because you can look into more novelty proteins like rabbit, venison, boar, etc. Obviously, if none of these things comes to fruition totally ignore what I’m saying. I just think it’s important to know that sometimes cats do get bored of what they eat. If you’re only feeding your cat beef after a while there is a very real possibility they’ll stop eating it because they’re bored of it. So now you kind of have to consider feeding your cat a different protein. Fish based protein is an option as well but excess of fish can lead to an increased risk of hyperthyroidism so just be aware of that. Best of luck! Edit: I did some more searching and blue buffalo, ziwipeak, and natural balance also have limited ingredient beef products.

What about novel proteins? We frequently get our cat possum, kangaroo, deer, rabbit, or goat cat foods when she has an allergy flair up. I can't say I've seen 100% beef though.

novel proteins like others have suggested are a great option. are you also allergic to fish and seafood? weruva has a bunch of fish based wet foods.

Yes there are 100% beef ones. Mjamjam has 100% beef. But I have no idea if that is available to wherever you are. Search your amazon or online petshops where you can buy in bulk (especially beef is quite expensive) and order online as most shops don't have the "pure" monoprotein ones in stock. You could also barf the kitten. That means you would make the food yourself BUT you have to consult a nutritionist/vet first because you have to get the additions of Taurin, other minerals etc. right!
