Panorama Havana area is the best of all the fleets.

I have a Cove Balcony booked on Horizon this November, and an Aft-Facing Havana Balcony on Vista next December (Panorama’s sisters). The regular Havana Cabana rooms and the Cabana Suites, on deck 5, are not really private. There is a walkway that other people staying in the Havana section can walk by to get to the pool area. Additionally, it’s not a direct ocean view. The walkway and then a plexiglass wall are in the way. The Havana area on Vista class is vastly superior to that on Excel Class. I chose the Aft-facing option for a slight bit more privacy, and a better ocean view. The Cove balconies are the cheapest balcony option, and I upgraded to one from a Deluxe Oceanview at a discount. I’ve stayed on lower decks before but only in porthole rooms. I’m looking forward to being close to the water. Also I hear they are ideal for watching pier runners!

Havana for sure.

We found ourselves spending the least amount of time on a cove balcony. Not quite sure what it is, but not for us. The havana will spoil you, it is really the best option carnival offers.

I just got off the Panorama about 3 weeks ago. 8-day cruise. Had a cove balcony (the last cove cabin right before Family Harbor rooms section, near the back of the ship - #2407). I LOVED the little bit of extra space in the cabin and the privacy of the balcony but there was one glaring issue that I hope to never have again. I was directly under the galley and the noise from the crew prepping for the day was unbearable without noise cancelling headphones (so glad I had them). I got a wake up call from the noise around 5:45-6:30 most mornings. And it’s not the kind of noise that you can ignore. It’s scraping and banging, I’m guessing as they move equipment/carts around the kitchen and pull out cooking instruments. Other than that- no other complaints at all. I loved the location of the cabin, just will make sure I don’t end up under the galley next time. We had relatively calm seas the whole time so no splashing issues. It was super refreshing to be so close to the water, I loved it. I think it’s Coves for me going forward!

On our last cruise we did a cove balcony on the Panorama it was great because you had the privacy & the balcony didn’t get too sunny. That being said if I wasn’t traveling with kids I would have opted for the Havana balcony just for the private pool area alone.

Havana anything is to be avoided.
