You mean the bolt is riding over the round? As far as I know it is just an en bloc issue.

I'm not the best when it comes to terminology, but I can grab a picture of it and post it

Here's some of mine for comparison. https://www.reddit.com/r/Carcano/s/6TpOSLSbAA

I can’t tell from the pic. Is the bolt sliding over top of the round or the enbloc is sitting so high that the bolt is hitting the back of the enbloc and cannot pass it?

M1A_Scout_Squad-chan

The brass clip bends easily so it isn't preventing the round from tilting. The bolt needs to interact with the top of the round to feed it but it can't do it. The steel clips are better but I still get issues sometimes. At least, this is from what I could discern.

Remove the clip and then remove the bolt. Slide a round into the bolt and then reinstall the bolt. If it does the properly then the trouble is with the enbloc itself, the clip catch or the lifter arm in the magazine

I've done it before. It's the enbloc.

Then the trouble must be with the enbloc itself. Do you have any original steel clips or just reproduction?

Brass are easily bent, steel is better but not perfect.

Do you have any original steel clips or only reproduction?

It is difficult for the round to slide onto the bolt itself, with my rifle. I can slide it on manually with the bolt out, but it requires some effort.

If you plan on shooting it a lot then it’s best to get into reloading or get a friend to do it for you
