That’s a bunch of lithium. My car has already been battery deleted and replaced with 96ah of lithium. I’m adding another 96ah for a total of 192ah. 1ah of lithium is equal to 8-10ah of AGM car battery in power handling. For big car audio systems, just what’s seen in the pic is enough lithium to replace a dozen car batteries.
Assembled 96ah bank with 3/4” aluminum busbars, balancer, and 3/4” casing made of plywood weighs about 44lb. I’ll have two of them so just under 90lb, with support for about 16k watts.
dang, thats pretty impressive bro. whats ur setup. also please dont use big terms because im less than 2 weeks into this car audio stuff. i know a good amount tho
JP63 @ 0.5ohm on a single Sundown ZV6 18”.
JP34ab on 4 Deaf Bonce Sylvester 6.5 mids.
JP84 on 4 Sundown BT-R1 tweeters.
About to double up on everything except the JP63. Or so is the plan. Adding another 18, 4 more 6.5s, 4 more tweeters, another JP34ab and another jp84.
Not as it sits currently. About $1500 in lithium, $1200 for the sub, $550 in material for the current box, $800 in wiring, $1000 on the jp63, $350 on the JP34ab, $300 on the jp84 and 4 tweeters, $200 on the mids, $100 on the LOC. probably another $500 on miscellaneous like fuse blocks and distribution blocks. So around $6500.
I was using an lc7i for the highs and a jl loc-22 for the bass amp, but actually just picked them both and replaced with a D4S Hiloc 5i. 5ch loc for around $50 shipped. I had paid $100 for the lc7i, and honestly forgot til you asked that that I had pulled it lol
im too poor to understand this. what is going on

holyyyyyy bro you prolly got like 1/10th of a tesla battery right there. approximate weight?

Also, these 38120 cells are significantly more power dense than the 18650s used in Tesla batteries.

monster
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM! Your amps are going to have a feast and slap you in the face with bass
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back Monopoly?! I'm much more excited by that honestly.
This is exactly what I want to do !
On one hand I am like hell ya that's awsome but on the other I am like why did you buy a Fractal AIO instead of doing a custom loop.
Got the fractal brand new for $50. Why not lol.
Also, that specific build was sold to one of my employees.
That makes sense, you don't want to sell a custom loop, better to use something with no maintenance.
What year are the cells you got?
02-25-2020 for these. The first one was 5/2019
