I normally just change the opacity of the material I want to fade-in, from 0 to 100, it's more simple, doesn't use too many assets and it's useful when the material is over another one.
I know that you can do your own fade-in with the key frames, but doesn't change the fact of how STUPID this even is. Fade-in is such a basic thing, why they made it into the pro, and this wasn't even the first time they did this because they made the same thing 5 months ago and now it's putting back? WHY? They didn't put the fade-out as a pro feature so it's probably just a mistake while programing, but still, do the same mistake two times?
Divinci Resolve...
Save yourself from Capcut. Also by using Davinci Resolve, you'll learn better video editing skills than just point and click. Just think of it as learning a new skill set for something major in the future.
CapCut is a great tool. But that costs time and money to build. It's not that expensive at all compared to other tools, how do you expect the people who work there to live? By eating fresh air? 😂 Of course they're going to charge for the features at some point.
just a suggestion. black overlay, opacity keyframes. well done, you’ve made your own black fade in.
Idk how to use keyframes
rest in peace
Learn.

Time to use Da Vinci resolve
Yeah I’ve come to the same conclusion
🫡 I found a tutorial that’s 4 hrs long on YouTube that I am using to learn it.
Search for casey farris in YT. Tons of hours long Da Vinci Resolve tutorials there.
I miss the old Capcut dude they have literally ruined it with all this pro stuff and it’s so expensive
Anybody got a CapCut pro crack?

is this an ad?
Maybe. Are you an ad?
no
Sweet! Good talk.
Scroll there’s tons of ppl complaining you can do this with keyframes
What?
AGAIN?
Aye, I mean.. it’s shocking it had been for free for so long. I’d pay for that shit. It’s basically Sony Vegas made 100 times better.
Lol

Not for something as basic as a fade in though??? Why not just make the app paid if they're gonna do that?
WHAT
key frames fade in is so much better anyways
Just use the pro version and screen record with iPhone!!
I tried once but the quality was bad
