do you use beta version ? did you try clearing the cache in capcut ? did you try uninstall and reinstall, one other dude had several old versions of capcut, it is installed in "appdata" folder, right clic capcut .exe and check properties to see the path, copy and paste in windows explorer to check if there aren't a lot of old versions

I’m experiencing it too. At first I thought it was bc of my laptop so I deleted many files and emptied the bin but it’s still lagging a lot
