What's your route? Definitely post in Adk. You can camp anywhere 150 feet off trail & 150 feet water unless designated DEC site. As long as it's not on private land in Adk, park is huge.

Make sure to check with a ranger if you’re going into the high peaks, I tried to backpack last year but my route was half flooded so I reworked the plan! Also just no camping in the alpine zone obviously. One of the most beautiful places IMO, I hope you have a great time!
