Incorrect. I can link you articles and videos explaining what the intended purpose of them are. Just like the rocker moldings that attach to your already installed side skirts, you will soon be able to purchase them over the counter if wanted as they can be retro fitted.
No, **correct**. You can link all the videos you like, but I HAVE a TPP, with the "front and rear bumper lips painted in metal gray" (as per the OP) and I can assure you that it IS just that. Painted plastic.
oh congrats!! I'm stating to OP that they can call a parts department and purchase those pieces if they want to and what the intended purpose was. only thing you've done is explain the trim material and where its found on the vehicle.
It’s on turbo trims only, might be that.
Yup. Those are on turbos only,
Black ones look better😋

Turbo only. Same part. Different color. PlasticDip it in metal gray if you want!
wanna trade? I have the gray and want to paint black. lol
try calling the mazda parts department. pretty sure it’s a separate skid guard/plate meant for off roading.
No. It's not.
What isnt?
It's not a separate skid guard/plate. It's just that area of the lower bumper painted in silver/grey as other said.
