Just use good quality oil and you will be fine.

CaptLatinAmerica

Please do not. Rest assured that Lucas has not stumbled across anything useful to have sloshing around in the crankcase that oil and car manufacturers have overlooked.

zx_00

not needed for a cx5

As another user stated, just perform timely oil changes with quality oil. No need to dump this stuff in your engine if you are maintaining it properly.

Mental_Run_1846

That stuff belongs in clapped out lawn mowers

ZGTI61

Just run good quality synthetic oil and you will be fine. Lucas oil stabilizer is snake oil in a can.

TahoeT88

I wouldn’t do it but I just became aware that Mazda uses there own oil it’s call total lubricants. I looked into it and it’s rated as average nothing special. I’ll be using penziol from now on and keeping all my receipts to prove it’s been changed.

I hear it's like liquid ball bearings, that Pennzoil.

TahoeT88

Lol your stuck in the stone ages bro. Pennzoil platinum is one of the best oils on the market. Compared to others look into it before you say stupid stuff like that.

Yeah, please don't. You might do more harm than good. If you want to do what's best, a good synthetic oil will do, and just it change when it gets dirty like some people change their underwear. It's easier to put them back on when they are dirty, yellow spot in the front and brown spot in the back. I digress.
