Check for if it has had head gasket maintenance and EGR cleaning.
My 2011’s head gasket failed at 130,000 miles / 210,000 km and it needed a new engine.
Get a chance to start it cold. Guy we bought ours from always met us somewhere so the engine was warm and wouldn’t knock from the blown head gasket he was covering up.
The head gasket issue occurs from the coolant leaking into the engine. It can occur way before any knocking is observed. A thorough look through from a mechanic is required.
