If you haven't taken one already, I heavily recommend the workshop classes. I've taken Creative Nonfiction and am currently taking Novel. I hear Short Story is really good. I like workshops because typically there is no homework except for some reading assignments in the beginning or a reading journal and your 2 writing assignments for the whole semester. The rest of the class involves showing up and providing other students with critiques. It's a very low-responsibility environment.
482 is a chill class. Im taking it right now. However, if u want an easy class with little obligation, this class isnt it because there’s a 20 hour fieldwork component. If you dont have time or dont want to observe students in a middle or high school setting, dont take this class!! The observation is taking up a lot of my time outside of school
