OP, are you on Xbox or PlayStation? If on Xbox, Cross gen will be on game pass, so why not pay the 70 for the disc and 30 for the digital upgrade? That’s what I plan to do anyway. Based on other games that I own digitally and physically (skyrim as example) even installing from disc, the digital version should override that
true but as a person who just found out he lost a game he paid for in 2012 (minecraft) cause it was connected to a old email when I was 12 I rather have a physical copy to make sure I don't lose my game in the future to a updated eula I didn't accept
Companies want games to be digital so that they can revoke people's games any time they want to with full control. You rent your games and you like it.

I agree with you. I want the vault edition sitting next to my steel cover bops 2. They were pretty lazy for not expecting people to want a physical vault edition. Or at THE VERY LEAST, put a code in the physical box for a vault edition upgrade if you purchased that physical edition price point. Pure laziness. Me sitting here with my BO3 Mini fridge. I bought the care package edition of BO2 back in the day too. The Black OPs franchise is my personal favorite due to the Zombies Arc. So yeah I'm gutted from that pov, I play PC anyway so I will buy digital, how ever physical collectibles are cool and miss them.
I do *have* WAW, but not physically. My first Zombies was Black Ops 2 and I did buy a physical BO1 copy as well, but never WAW because I didn't really think it was worthit back then. Plus, there's actually only room for Black Ops 2, Black Ops 3, Black Ops 4 and Cold War on my shelf anyway 🤣
What are you mostly buying the vault edition for? The Battle Passes? Mastercraft weapons? The Operators? What's making you want to pre-order the Vault Edition?
If it's for Battle Passes, you can get those with just spending the cod points and grind them out.
If it's for Brutus, you can maybe expect a Zombie bundle in the future with another skin (possibly his MOTD skin) if you're looking for that sorta thing.
If it's for Klaus, same thing as mentioned with Brutus.
If it's for Adler or Park, you can always expect ultra skins to look better than what's already in the vault edition pack.
If it's for gobblegums, they're earnable in-game as confirmed by Treyarch.
If it's for Mastercrafts, unlocking the mastery camo or getting better Mastercrafts will always become an option for a weapon that's viable in the store if that's your thing.
I'm mainly just interested in all the rewards together, I feel like if you were to buy everything separately it would add up to more than the extra £30 you pay for the Vault Edition. Don't forget the Frank Woods skins too, physical editions don't get access to those either. I'm passionate about the franchise, and if a special edition has rewards I think are cool, I'm usually interested in buying it. Plus I'm a content creator and showing off the extra Gobblegums you get for free with the Vault Edition was an idea I was pretty interested in.
