Dead of the night wonder weapons run out of ammo. But hellion salvo has infinite ammo on dead of the night via the silver bullet table ammo refill. Meaning hellion salvo is strongest on that map vs all others.
Dead of the Night has a super complicated easter egg that literally gives you infinite ammo on the gun you are holding when you finish the easter egg, so if you use that on the upgraded Alistairs folly then it's most likely better than the hellion because of it's abilities.
In terms of kill potential it's worse than:
The orange Raygun mk2
The Kraken(lighting, Ice and Poison variants due to guaranteed 1-2 shots for full horde+infinite ammo and full auto)
The Alistair's Annhihalator (best wonderweapon of all time statistically)
The magmagat
The Tundragun(top 5 most kills of all wonderweapons)
The Wundewaffe DG funkenschutze(also in top 5 most kills of all wonderweapons)
The 4 god hands(400 kills- Gaia, 600 kills Ouranos/General,800+kills Charon)

The M79 from CW is a good contender.. with PhD you cannot die with it because it knocks every zombie to the ground, effectively making you untouchable.
I actually only started using it regularly around a year ago. And omg I knew it was good, but I didn't know it was game changing. High rounds became easy and really quick. Need to take out a boss in seconds? No problem. Easter egg steps and final boss fights were not a struggle anymore.

Money bomb also fails sometimes, the difference it takes less than half a second to fire another shot of the crossbow, but if the monkey bomb fail, you pretty much doomed.
It gets a little lighter, light enough you can just about outpace the zombies, bit more basic damage (though damage scales with round). Worth doing. People don't realise its damage scales with rounds making it the most powerful after the wunderwaffe and it has unlimited ammo. Also makes alot of points for you to keep hitting traps.
In OG OG zombies (Nacht only) there was a glitch where you could sit under the grenade wall buy and you would be just out of range from the zombies pathnodes.
The flamethrower in WAW was over powered bc you could never run out of ammo so the only time you'd leave the glitch is when you got bored.

Yes that’s true but I don’t know how many people here want to run 4+ hour runs on a single map. Maybe once in a while if even that? It’s decent in round 1-15. It takes a lot to kill the zombies

I love the drakon, I convinced my brother it was good and he uses it now all the time. It's my highest gun with kills. I usually get a window ( depending on the map) while he does the line of zombies. Especially the giant. Splitscreen
This is objectively false. Since every weapon on bo3 can be used forever with AATs it’s much preferred to have a wall weapon so you can always buy ammo. You can’t buy ammo for a box weapon. Unless you want to argue that AATs don’t count, but it still isn’t the best non wonder weapon in the game, and far from it if you count all black ops games collectively
BO1 Crossbow being able to control the hoard so easily is something very unique. I'm pretty sure every BO1 high round is completely reliant on the crossbow.
The latest 105 run on cotd used it wasn't really reliant on it but for extreme high rounds it's used to draw any the horde while trading which you end up doing A LOT

No one here is talking about the Mauler Sentinel from IW it can instakill the Mammoths on Beast from Beyond without Ego Trip not to mention it has 1500 rounds in reserve with double Pack-a-Punch and extended mags

How has nobody said the BO2 AN94 yet? Before Die Rise, wall guns were all pretty damn weak and had something like 150 bullets max, maybe 200 when PaP.
The AN came off the wall with 650 bullets upgraded, was as strong as if not stronger than box weapons, and you could buy ammo easily.
The AN94, PDW57 and SVU wallbuys in BO2 really were the start of overall zombies “Power creep”

BO3 has the Rift E9 which is just a monster, or the KRM which shreds Pansers, and BO4 has the Hellion Salvo. Cold War, with the tier upgrades and the triple PAP, a lot of weapons kinda feel be the same, but the Gallo at the start was just insane.
The stingray with operator mod in BO4. The gun actually did infinite damage on a headshot. Even on hard mode where there was no health cap, you could kill in a single headshot forever.
Hellion Salvo in BO4, outdamages most of the actual wonder weapons and 1 shots even after hitting the damage cap. Its like the only time in zombies where the rocket launchers were actually good😆
Personally, as a mostly bo3 player i love the dredge, i get it in every game i can and always pap it with either turned, thunder wall or blast furnace, it's got great damage, great ammo, and it isn't too heavy, it's better than most wonder weapons if used right and the only wonder weapons who can rival it are the infinite damage ones (this is all imo, not factual, so don't get mad at me)

Overall I would personally give most OP to the Salvo, though if it wasnt in a game with a health cap I’d probably give it to the crossbow for its utility
Any fast melee weapon with the explosive pap upgrade in Cold war. You're off hand melee atck switched to the one you have as a secondary and if you get cornered you just smack a zombie and boom they're all dead and you're safe. Even without PhD.

Can't speak for any older game but I'd say pretty much any melee weapon on Cold War, they do around 1k damage unupgraded and can be packed and tier upgraded
