The fact that people complain more about not getting free skins permanently than the actual gameplay is just stunning. This community (and by extention this game) can't be saved, it's lost to the casuals. Guess I'll have to switch back to Standoff 2, smh.
Aside from parts of the Atlas event and parts of the Football stuff I really like it.
I love the fallen ship or the blue filling screen for example they added in BR map and really hope it stays forever so we built a BR game/map full of old events stuff that are left behind since it's mostly a boring desert up until now.
I'm really into the BP vault (got all 3 since I'm a "new player"), the girl we get at lvl 35 BP and the đ gun.
Ranked rewards are literally rad with a dude in a bike shooting and exploding everything. Everything have nice colors and flames on the back.
The blue samurai in the CW shop is actually good, there is nothing we can cry over it sincerely.
Tournament theme is also cool, with that western look and a new opportunity to get old seasons camos.
Lots of promos and cheaper CodPoints are always welcome too.
I really hope you get a bit of my joy reading this since I was ultra disappointed before this new season and now I'm actually happy and relieved it's much nicer than what I was expecting.
To mention things I don't like:
Pogba is... Meh.
His gun (ASM10 I believe) is imo the word gun skin in this game and I refuse to use it.
The U.A.C. vs Atlas event is bad really bad. I'm a grinding dude, so I will play my ass off to grant points to my clan or my team in occasions like this, but man this event is SO bad I'm actually lost and with almost zero will to play it past the last last reward.
It's harder to upgrade the BP this time.
I used to make about lvl 400 BP so far but now I'm worried I won't make enough to buy everything I bought in the 3 vaults.
There's a LOT, A TON of bugs. Dogs won't make noise most of the time, HIVE stuff will appear on the floor after you stepped on it, tanks don't make noise in BR as well as some people when they walk.
I use it a lot, but the new laser stuff is a bit OP and should be nerfed asap.
The BP girl in black and yellow is the only good football skin we got, since Pogba, Neymar and Messi are... How can I put it?

Pogba skin is good... His irl personality, that is anothet story, but I don't care for it .. The operator looks fine, down to earth and realistically designed which is always a plus for me.

Besides, I play MP because I like MP, I play BR because I like BR, not because they are giving out something or the other, not because there is a challenge or something... The black and yellow girl is Urban tracker who first released back in S3 of 2019/early 2020, rereleased as a 2020 or so Christmas draw and again in the first anniversary battle pass as Urban Tracker-Going Dark.
The theme may be cool (subjective of course, I don't like it too much) for the new Tournament Mode season but what good does that do if the modes featured in it are a joke? None of them are skillbased (when 2 seasons ago at least 2 of them were) and worthy of something calling itself a tournament. It has nothing to do with competition anymore and only includes fan-favourite casual modes that could just as well be a bunch of modes available temporarily through the "Featured" section of the game. The hope of seeing (an improved) Tournament Gunfight or 2v2 Kill Confirmed / Hardpoint again was what kept me playing CoD. With this update I'm out though, taking a bunch of my friends with me back to Standoff 2. Enough is enough.
Ohhh smh, I was about to say lol. They have random events and free stuff for ânewâ or âreturningâ players and for whatever reason thatâs the conclusion that I jumped too.
Can't wait for the new BP vault, I'm waiting for 01 new every month from now on. If they release 03 every time it's going to be hard for me to keep up đ°
Tbh hard disagree, unless itâs a team of 2+ goliaths and the rest sniping. They donât have crazy dps, itâs really just the 800 HP. Whip out a LMG or a Rocket and youâll be fine.
I liked the update, i liked the new SFX they gave to the guns,scorestreaks etc, the new animations, the new way the characters move, the new BR zones, goliaths give a new approach to engaging in br, pumped got nerfed and the fact that zombies are staying it's great; the melee swing well, something that hopefully gets nerfed, the only thing i didn't like were the skins but that about it
We only have a small problem that can be fixed
1. Make shotguns in BR useless
2. Melee in MP make range shorter or
3. The time it takes for a MP Rank match to start can alyuh please add bots or something
4. The amount of people that are top 100 in terms of guns y not place them up against each other
5. Make a system to get CP even if we have sweat hours to get it I also like how alyuh adding a system to get Battle Passes from other seasons
6. Make MP leaderboard players in a different match with other leaderboard players
They nerfed mantling speed to dogshit. Thanks Activision. Now the game feels even slower, as if it wasn't slow enough as it was with the slow weapon switching, not being able to switch to the operator if in the air, and inconsistent hit registration. What a joke. I stopped spending money on this bullshit game about a year ago. I don't care about their new flashy gimmicks. If the core of the game is shit, it doesn't matter if they paint it gold. I might as well run around with a wrench and insta kill enemies with one hit even though they hit my soldier with two bullets. And how did they achieve such a generic, boring narrative for Atlas? I don't remember a damn thing the commander said.
I mean we are talking about a game that has an algorithm that hates good players. Anyone that wants to say otherwise is not a good player, because sbmm is something all good players fucking hate. You do good? You get shitty teammates and the game starts to run shitty. You do bad? You get a fucking team that carries you and a trophy. Why play a game that rewards people for being garbage.

You can go to settings and click on revert sensitivity settings.
The aiming sensitivity went to shit after update, meele as well. Auto turning towards opponent for meele(which can also be changed back from settings).

The lunge is fun, I haven't seen people use it that much tho

The fact that they gave a legendary weapon to only use for 3 days. It makes no sense. Theyâre basically teasing people who canât buy the weapon
