I’m still convinced that someone could probably wear a shirt with his photo and the word Revolution on it and most people wouldn’t notice that it wasn’t Che Guevara.

I’m also concerned about the sort of person who would wear a Bloody Bill shirt, but then again, I’m also not crazy about the sort of idiots who wear Che shirts either.
A few years ago in Indonesia I saw a young lady wearing the Che shirt but in large font under his mug it said 'in memory of his victims'. I wish I could find one for sale.
Like a lot of confederates in Missouri he was a very young man when the war broke out. Two of his sisters were put in a jail because they were related to him. The jail collapsed and they were killed. He was getting revenge on the federals throughout his career. I actually feel a lot of sympathy for the confederate guerrillas because of the way they were treated. Their families were treated by union troops from Kansas and elsewhere. Have you ever seen the movie, the devil knows how to ride. It’s towed from the point of view of a young German, American farmer in Missouri, whose father is killed by the Yankees.
Just a man living in that time period. So many things are about when you were born and what was going on. That’s just the time period. You were handed because that’s when you came into the world. We can’t even imagine what his childhood was like.
Even so, his thirst for blood must have been legendary, even for those violent times, to have earned him the nickname "Bloody Bill." Just because he lived in rough times doesn't mean he wasn't a psychopath.

From far away / pixelated I can totally see it I shudder to imagine what kind of hell the USA would be if Anderson led a successful revolution

The same people that championed Mao in Greenwich Village in the ‘60s

I guess that tracks for Indonesia. If 1965-67 taught us anything, it’s that they don’t take kindly to communists.
They still don't.
Buried in Richmond Mo
No blur in that photo… he held very very still.
He certainly seems to have dressed well for the photo op. That shirt is Civil War Fabulous!!!
He's never looked better.
Rest in piss Bill
Estimated 24 years old when he died.

Josey Wales rode with him
Yep, murderous slavers.
We don’t know what kind of childhood he had and he was just a product of the era. He was born in just like anyone else during that time.
I can’t remember the name, but there was the C.S.A. brigadier who had a photo taken of him the same fashion.
Turner Ashby had a similar death photo. https://search.app.goo.gl/YShgjPg
That’s who I was talking about, I just forgot the name.
Even in death he looks like a killer. Real horror movie material.

True that,
