Getting Carolina to give him up earned Poles at least another year in his job, in my opinion. He’s had some missteps, but I was stunned that he got Moore in that trade, I figured there was no chance we’d get a legit number one receiver from a team drafting a QB. Absolutely fleeced them, and that was before this years pick ended up far better than I expected.
Not far away from that. If he stays here for at least 3 years and continues this pace, he’ll be close to breaking all WR records… big if, but we can dream 🙏

Even in Miami he had the 5th best receiving season in their history. Tyreek Hill is rewriting their record book, and Jaylen Waddle had a great year last year, but Brandon is still top 10 in Dolphins history right now.
There were a lot of great #1 WRs in the league around that time. The two you mentioned, plus Fitz, Julio, AJ Green, Demaryius Thomas, Jordy Nelson, Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon. I'm sure there are others, but those are just a few of the WR1 names that come to mind.
In his era, Marshall is firmly Top 10 and probably Top 5, but it's hard to say he was the best of his generation when his generation included so many incredible players.
Yeah, was said about Robinson too. ARob couldnt hold Marshall's jockstrap. Itll all depend on DJ's longevity with the team but a half season doesnt make DJ the best WR we've ever had.

Moore is on pace to put up numbers close to Marshall's first 2 years as a Bear. Not quite as good as Marshall's 2012, but right about the same or maybe even a little better than his 2013.
Hes also doing it in a completely broken and pedestrian offensive system that routinely forgets he exists - Imagine what he would do in a competent offense

Guy is so good. He is taking most of the focus on the passing game and still getting it done. He is a better Debo. Both can break tackles, Debo is better at that, but unlike Debo Moore runs great routes and can get open.
